Helenius earned the payday but he is the perfect come back opponent for a power puncher. Helenius is slow and doesn’t block punches well. Only thing going for him is this is a rattled Wilder coming of two consecutive stoppage. If he can rattle Wilder with punches early it’s game on.

If this happens, then I will admit I was very wrong. I had no doubt Wilder would come back against someone we had never heard of for a confidence boosting KO. That is what he is looking for here as well, but at least it is against a name veteran with some good wins as of late. I commend Wilder for taking this.
