Yes as combination punchers. Floyd particularly at 130-140 pounds before his hands were damaged.

Yeah, it's Ray Robinson, I think. I was thinking Armstrong as a kneejerk reaction but Ray was so coordinated in addition to his durability and speed, etc, that it's very difficult not to pick him. He just had everything.

Not sure if cardio was a strong point for him? I May be wrong but he seemed to mainly get rid of fighters before rd6?

Engine is right up there with brain, chin and heart. When you're gassed every single aspect of your performance deteriorates. A fighter with a poor engine is seriously vulnerable, even if he has brain, chin and heart.

"Power is memorable, exciting, but can also be a curse at the very top level"

In the sense that you can become dependent on it, not refining other parts of your game, in the sense that it makes you more likely to swing for the bleachers when you should be more reserved, in the sense that you can become demoralised more easily if an opponent can take the power, in the sense that punchers tend to suffer more mentally from being KO'd themselves, or something else?

Fighting for quite a while at welterweight did that to his KO percentage. Just not big enough at that weight.

You can definitely argue that Pac was a small WW but you can't argue that he was not a WW since he fought there for over 10 years and had close to 20 fights.

Also, he fought a lot of small WW and he still had a miserable KO% at that weight.

Pac is really a lightweight and he fought for close to a decade at 147 because it's the glamour division (next to heavyweight) with the big money fights.

So the fact that small ass Pac hurt and/dropped every single opponent and had them in survival mode says his power is exceptional. Just imagine the current crop of lightweights doing what Pac did even with their size advantages over Pac. Haney/Kambosos/Lomachenko/Garcia dropping the likes of Mosley/Thurman or putting Clottey into a defensive shell. It's unthinkable.

And Marquez and Bradley are unKOable guys. It's just how tough some guys are.
