The weight disparity is one thing also factor in Benn’s power hasn’t been proven against a top welterweight either so what are the chances he’s able to seriously hurt Eubank.Benn’s style and aggression will get him bang in trouble against Eubank imo.Eubank can be lazy though so wouldn’t surprise me if he carries him somewhat.

Anyone who thinks a 147lber in Benn can hurt Eubank who has been in with George Groves and gone the distance should have their head checked. Even Liam Williams would hit seriously harder than Benn although tbf Williams never laid a glove on Eubank.

Makes me laugh how Eubank was talking about they both live in the shadow of their fathers and want to get out of it.

    The irony

Just depends what the weight cut and rehydration does to him. Those 3 lbs are going to be a killer and if he can't hydrate properly his punch resistance will deplete.

I genuinely don’t think that will be an issue. Eubank is a freak in terms of athleticism and stays in condition year round. I reckon it will be easy for him to make the weight. I really have this down as one of the most one sided PPVs we’ll see in recent years.

He has himself said it would be a struggle to make 158 because asyou say he's always in great shape so there isn't much more to take off. He said 156 just isn't possible so 157 is going to kill him to make.

Looking forward to this trilogy and will be boiling if either fighter fails to live up to the Warrior Code in all three DAZN UK Box Office fights.

They may even get to the best of 5 fights if carefully milked.

lol youre a eubank jr fanboy

williams probably punches harder than eubank jr as well

but I agree Benn moving up in weight won't be able to hurt eubank jr. Fully expect a comfortable eubank jr win

Imo for Junior to get down to that weight he's surely going to have to compromise a bit of muscle mass. I don't know how he safely loses another 3ib at that age.

The Eubank of a few years ago beats this version of Benn to a pulp, there is no doubt of that. Benn's style would have played right into his hands but these days Junior prefers to try and box and pick his shots. He doesn't go toe to toe anymore, in fact he doesn't really follow up when he's got an opponent hurt.

I don't buy into the Benn hype at all, but this is all in his favour and I'm shocked with the compromises Junior is making.

All depends on how he does the weight.

Eubank Jr has a solid chin - like his old man did - but if he's murdered himself to cut the extra weight.... he won't hold a shot as well and cracks may appear in that chin.

Yep.... Dom Ingle style with Brook against GGG

As soon as Kell was in discomfort the towel was straight in there. No hanging about.

Eubank should just take off what he can take off and come on it at around 160

I've seen a vid of Tony Sims saying if eubank comes in a pound over the fights off. All lies, they just want him absolutely dead in the ring. If eubank can't get past 160, the day before the fight, after all the hype and build up, no way are they gonna call it off, the amount of potential money everyone loses out on, and DAZN actually do lose would be crazy . The fight will go on. Plus I think the public would then turn on Benn saying he's a coward and wants another easy touch with the corpse of Eubank only, not interested in fighting the real jnr.

160 is fine anyway. I bet Benn walks around 165 or more anyway. So he's gonna be coming in super strong and fresh as a daisy with an easy cut. Eubank will still have a real hard time making the 160

160 is ok, the fact they want him dead in the ring just makes it all a bit meh. We won't get the real Eubank. If I was in Chris corner I'd say just come in at 160-161, will still be hard but not knocking on death's door type of struggle

Which I thought was unfair as ironically all the towel wants to do is hang about. It's just minding its own business and Dom decides to lash out and start ragging it all over the gaff and then lobbing it on the floor. GGG notices and walks away in disgust, everyone rushes to Kell, no one's gives a **** about the towel. Clown world

If he weighs above 158.5 the fight is off

    All bluster I say

Put it to the test. Dazn will lose a **** load of money, or Hearn seems though it's matchroom. Will spend loads on hyping this, he's not gonna want to burn his money. Plus it's the first DAZN ppv UK launch, so if it goes up in smoke and called off the day before that's an unmitigated PR disaster on top of all the lost revenue.

And then there's the public perception of Benn afterwards, seeming to only want to fight if he has a huge advantage. That's a rep he was starting to get already for avoiding Avanesyan and any real contender, instead choosing washed up old men. His reputation will take a hit

    The fight will go on
