Shocking news about Paul Green, mental health is very important I honestly am a bit rattled its the last person I would expect.
* Stevie Spark WBC no 20 has offer to make US debut against Montana Love WBC no 16. * Harry Garside will decide in next 6 mths if he will fight in Paris 24.
Montana Love isn't a bad fight for Spark. Love probably see's Spark as an easy win. I think that Love will win but he is not overly dangerous he has a good skillset so will be a good experience for Spark win or lose.
Any of you cobbas know when and on what platform Usyk-Joshua ll will be airing? Looks as though Jeddah is about 3 hours ahead of Greenwich mean time.
Presumably Foxtel & DAZN are still negotiating. This is an international fight that's actually got some value attached to it so DAZN will want top dollar before they let Foxtel have it. If Foxtel aren't willing to pay top dollar, we should get it on DAZN as part of our subscription.
Stevie will spark him. Very underrated Australian fighter. Montana Love will find out that it's a different heat down here.
Spark is a good fighter, but he isn’t at that level. Spark will find out that there’s a heat he’s never felt before.
Seems more fights have been added to Gallen Hannant/Hodges card. Outside of Garside-Zewlenski, which is a pretty tough fight at this stage of his career coming off an injury, we got: Benny Hussein vs Bubba Higgins. Should be a pretty decent filler. Bubba was unlucky against Terry "Tony Montana" Nickolas and is a tough competitor. Joe Goodall vs Arsene Fosso Potential to be a real slug fest with lots of heavy artillery being exchanged. I have this idea in my head though that Fosso's fights tend not to come to fruition for some reason. Hopefully it comes off because outside of that it starts to get a bit lean. King Davidson looked badly shot in his last fight. Not sure chucking him in there with a super middle with a perfect KO record in Jack Bowen is a great idea. Ty Telford is always great value and good to see him back after he was taken off the Tszyu undercard. Have no idea about his opponent but I wouldn't underestimate these Indian fellas, they are really starting to have some good results in the amateurs. Jalen Tait is good young prospect..maybe they are grooming him to fight Garside soon. Other than that you got some chick fights I dont know anything about. And of course the WCW Australasian Heavyweight tag team championship for the main.
Hmmm, needs more Tszyu. As in, some. Joe Goodall v Arsene Fosso is a good one on paper but a lot will depend on the shape Arsene comes in at. He was in shape against Huni & looked dangerous AF. His next fight was televised & he ran out of petrol after a few rounds & barely scraped through. He hasn't been sighted off Nobbys since. It's a real good fight for Joe Goodall methinks & he should win & get the stoppage as long as he doesn't walk into something big early. Nice to see No Limit / Foxtel / Main Event giving him another start. In other Australian boxing news, No Limit have apparently won a purse bid for an IBO world title fight involving Dennis Hogan & Sam Eggington. Presumably that fight will headline another No Limit show between now & the end of the year.
It would great to see Eggers come down under. Hogan is not a bloke I get excited to watch but I like to see him to well.
If he's not willing to travel to fight Dennis Hogan, he should probably hand in his professional boxing license b/c he's not fair dinkum. Maybe we'll get a Tszyu on the undercard of that one. Saturday 8 October is the date. Jack Brubaker mentioned as a possible opponent for The Caboose.
