I quite like him his fights bring excitement in the UK his fights are like big events over here sells out quick, normally has a great undercard, it's great Saturday out And I think he gets alot of unnecessary hate he kind of helped boxing boom again in UK
Dont like the fake humble engineered personality. However, always look forward to watching him fight.
He's one of my favourite boxers for sure. He made heavyweight boxing in the UK exciting again. His fights are entertaining. He's fought some good fighters and hasn't ducked anyone. He seems like he cares about the belts, activating the rematch clause against Usyk after Usyk dominated him and completely outboxed him shows he has heart. It's funny, people used to LOVE Joshua and hated Fury. Ive always been a fan of both. I remember wearing a Team Fury t-shirt at work. Loads of people asking me why I like that gypsy **** etc etc. Now them very same people can't stand AJ and love Fury. Can't wait for next Saturday. Joshua is going to avenge his loss, knock out Usyk and hopefully fight Fury some point next year.
One of my favourite boxers for sure. Brilliant record (Wlad, Povetkin, Parker, Ruiz and Pulev were all top when he beat them) cleared out the majority of the divison and others have ducked his offers (Wilder, Fury and Ortiz). AJ hasn't ducked or avoided anyone, that's got to be respected. Comes across respectable, humble and down to earth in most of his interviews. Isn't one of these HWs that constantly talks bollocks or attempts to create fake beef.
I like him because he so kindly and easily have 4 belts to one of my favorite fighters Usyk. Thank you AJ
He went from doing petty crime as a low level 'roadman' to being worth $100's of millions. He never ducked anyone. Can be an exciting fighter to watch. Has faced the best competition out of all heavyweights and has the deepest win resume in the division. Seems like he respects the game and other boxers. He has helped fighters within his circle get big in the game in Buatsi and Okolie. He along with Fury and Wilder woke up a heavyweight division that was asleep. And he has influenced many young kids hopefully in a positive manner. Gotta respect him for that... but I still don't like him. Nothing personal. It's the bull**** Chinese fortune cookie quotes that pissed me off. The overly on-camera bum chumming with Eddie Hearn and Kugan Cassius on IFL TV didn't help either. Then his overly rigid robotic engineered humble fake media personality, I think he has forgotten who he really is, he should go Nigeria eat some Jollof rice to rediscover himself and get some Sam Peter "Who Nexxx" with a bit of Ibeuchi energy which is more authentic. Also that "first time was so nice had to do it twice" nonsense trying to be a part time drill rapper needs to be shutdown. Furthermore talking about 'boxing gods' and overly philosophising the game into some nonsense with some new age spiritualism nonsense... there is no boxing gods... there is only One God. On top of all that AJ calling the legend Lennox Lewis a clown let the old legend talk his ****. But worst of all is you can watch AJ talk for hours while he is saying abslolute nothing. AJ gonna be one of them guys that we may appreciate more when he is gone.
People never seem to remember the hate on Tyson fury, that win over Klitschko was barely even applauded at the time, people just said he beat an old great in the most negative style imaginable. Then there was all the controversial things he said whether misogynistic or homophobic etc. Crazy how its all forgotten and spun differently now
I remember. I supported Fury back when it wasn’t popular, when he was seen as a joke, “that meme boxer who uppercut himself”. He schooled an 11-year-unbeaten Klitschko in his backyard then came home to the BBC persecuting him. Meanwhile Joshua robbed his way to an undeserving gold medal and knocked over a couple of bums in Charles Martin and Eric Molina and he was hailed as the next coming of Jesus Christ
He's rarely boring to watch, and that's what matters. Forget about their ****ing personality, as they exciting to watch? Joshua and Wilder offer the most value in terms of excitement more frequently. Usyk and Fury are hit and miss. Half of their fights are a joy to watch, half of them are boring as ****.
