That was a good episode. Carlos was more handsome than any of the actors. My sister was very impressed.
Fun clip of Muhammad Ali appearing on WHAT’S MY LINE 1965 prior to the upcoming Floyd Patterson bout. Orig. clip was in B/W and has been colorised:- This content is protected
Old school. Former boxer come actor Victor McLaglen (boxed Jack Johnson in 1909) on THIS IS YOUR LIFE, aired about 1953 I think:- This content is protected
Also The Fall Guy, Perry Mason, Family Affair and a bunch of others, with a key role as Jim in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Tex Cobb was in Miami Vice. I think Mark Breland was in the same episode (or two-parter). Of course both had movie roles, especially Cobb. Maxie Rosenbloom had a regular role in the Joe Palooka TV series and was seen in a ton of others including The Man from U.N.C.L.E., I Dream of Jeanie and The Donna Reed Show.
I read about this in an old boxing mag. with stills from the show but had never seen it - Lo and behold, Ytube delivers yet again:- Rocky Marciano in the old tv series CAPTAIN DAVID GRIEF (‘57 to ‘60). Olivier he ain’t but he’s not awful:- This content is protected
I know Tex Cobb was in a lot of things but the only one I remember is Walker, Texas Ranger. Also, I know this is about TV shows but since someone mentioned Ken Norton and Mandingo, I will add that Antonio Tarver was Mason Dixon in one of the Rocky movies.
