Look, I think it would be good for everyone if Fury retired, at least temporarily.

Everyone know that I have always supported Fury, even during the PEDs accusations, the mental problems and the soft touch fights against Schwartz and Wallin (which turned out to are a lot tougher than he expected). That being said, everyone wins if Fury retires again, which will really be another break from the sport. He'll be back, but now that he has vacated the Ring Magazine belt, I think it is time to acknowledge that there could are some kind of very real stepping away, regardless of how brief.

    BOXING WINS
The part-time champion fighting body builders and MMA guys is not going to work. Joshua stepped up after Fury's first retirement and the division was pretty decent, but disappearing for another year and a half when he didn't want to fight Wilder again really hurt. Boxing needs a unified champ, and the winner of Usyk-Joshua, who I believe will be Usyk, will try for that.

    FURY WINS
He is tired of getting his head punched in, wants to enjoy his family and his money, and, let's be honest, he doesn't like the USYK fight for himself. He really wanted the Joshua fight, and that can happen in the future. So take another break, but don't drag boxing down by holding onto the WBC belt for a year.

    USYK WINS
Probably the winner of Joyce-Parker will be sanctioned for the WBC belt, or many they will sanction the winner against Deontay for the vacant belt. I believe Joyce will come out on top of that, but I think there is a better chance of any one of those guys fighting Usyk than Fury, who had openly stated the he does not like the fight.

    JOYCE, PARKER, AND DEONTAY WIN
    See above.

    JOSHUA WINS
With Fury temporarily gone again, boxing needs him again, even if he loses to Usyk. Probably Usyk will retire shortly after winning the WBC belt, so Joshua has plenty of time to regenerate himself for his third act. And when he picks up an ABC belt 2-3 years in the future, then Fury will come back to fight him.

Thank you for your service. Mr. Fury. Good luck in your retirement, and I do hope to see you back in 2-3 years.

AJ beats Usyk with a punchers chance

Fury pretends to stay retired. AJ then has to get his ass whooped again by Joyce or Wilder.

    Usyk beats AJ again

Fury pretends to stay retired so he doesn't have to fight him, Wilder or someone else will scalp him.

Genius. Fury is getting them to do the legwork...then will pop in for the desert.

Fury retired to play mind tricks on people but it wont work. Usyk will prepare for him.

Fury was just spending everyones time.

Just retire and let others do their job.

But the fact that he "retired" right now, just showing that he is afraid of Usyk.

He will never be great, he had a chance, but fear of losing is bigger than a chance to be a great.

Im fine with him retiring after fighting for undisputed next band also just stay retired after that instead of attention seeking like Floyd.

But bowing out now is ducking.

He is milking it a little on instagram and Paris even sounds sarcastic about it.

With Fury out of the picture also more fights happen . Contenders fight each other so boxing fans win also.

Because Fury was cut so bad the ref could have stopped it and given Schwartz the win.
