I don't think he has a dodgy chin but it's no coincidence he keeps getting hit clean with shots he's not seeing coming. His footwork let's him down so badly and he keeps falling for traps. For me I don't think he's learning from his mistakes, and instead blames misfortune, lucky punches, pushes etc. So I don't think he's shot but he's levelled out now. He's the 4th best heavyweight....in the UK.
inactivity could also be playing a factor. He was out for more than a year and a half and went straight into a fight with fury on the biggest stage. I believe inactivity is also playing a part in a lot of these upsets that we are seeing
He's already faced Parker and Chisora so Pulev is next logical opponent in top 10. I bet Pulev will want the fight also.
Shot to bits, no, but his punch resistance seems to have faded badly and there is an issue there for sure. If we think back to Chisora 1, he seemed a very tough durable man. Since then he has been put down and knocked out too many times and 2 KO's in 3 fights is not a good record at all. His balance has always been awful, and it get's him into trouble. It was surprising to see that for all the money he has invested in his extended training camps in Portugal he started to tire from the 3rd round more or less against Fury and by the 7th he was in trouble stamina wise more so than being hurt until that uppercut landed. He's 34, on paper not so bad for a heavyweight but it's the mileage not the age. There is only so many times you can get battered around a ring or knocked out in this division and there are major signs Dillian is looking faded and tired. I don't think he is the 5th best HW in the UK at the moment. Fury Joshua Joyce Dubois Bakole H. Fury? I have always rated Bakole as being better than he is given credit for and have backed him on here a number of times, using the old adage of your only as good as your last performance I think he arguably beats Whyte who for me has more glaring weaknesses than Bakole and A LOT more miles on the clock. Dillian has a better resume on paper but most of his good wins are so tainted with controversy. I think there is no question at all a young fighter with huge power like Dubois at this stage would splatter Dillian.
I don't mind Whyte but he sounds like a proper crybaby at times. He's not good enough at title level and never will be.
Although he's not what I would consider totally shot I think he'll head in to a steep decline from here on in. His chin has been well and truly cracked now.... He'll always be game and entertaining though.
He cried and cried about not getting his shot then when he finally got it he barely threw a punch then got sparked out
Wouldn't say his punch resistance is shot When he's been put down / stopped.... its the uppercut that gets him. He's so prone to that shot and simply doesn't see it. And it's the shots you don't see that cause the damage as they say.
He looked like he had a great chin against Joshua. He never looked that solid in taking a shot again. I think that Joshua took something from him. Always too heavy and takes too many punches. Stamina issues, flat footed and questionable chin at best means most will fancy their chances at stopping him.
Whyteleafe DODGED the uppercut from fury, got PUSHED to the canvas, BANGED his head on the canvas and TORE his ligaments. Other than that he was in the fight until it got stopped.
