Holyfield - It would have been a difficult fight for me if I faced Usyk

    Says that Usyk is not aggressive, is a boxer and he struggled against boxers who weren't coming at him blow for blow. An honest admission from Evander, I respect that. I think Usyk would've beat him on points in their primes but it would've still been a close and exciting fight.

    And yet Johnny freaking Nelson said he'd beat Usyk with no problems in their primes lol. That clown should learn something from a real all-time great like Holyfield. Don't talk out of your ass and show some respect.

    The man to beat Usyk is Tyson Fury and the man to beat Tyson Fury is classified

    Moorer, Byrd and Sultan. With that said, Byrd and Sultan were late in his career.

    What Holyfield meant to say is that it would have been a difficult fight if he faced Usyk next week
    without some light sparring first.

    Would of been a hell of a fight I know that.. Not sure who would win Holyfield was faster while Usyk better reflexes and quicker on the feet. Holyfield has the power advantage by far while Usyk has the skill advantage..

    Holyfield's power advantage would be minimal compared to Joshua's power advantage. Holyfield was not regarded as a big puncher.

    A key factor is Usyk's southpaw stance. Holyfield had a poor record against good southpaws, going 1-3. And those southpaws were all smaller than GOAT southpaw HW Usyk (Moorer, Byrd, Sultan).

    Difficult fight for both fighters no doubt. That would have been an ATG matchup at CW or Heavyweight circa 1991-1994.

    At cruiserweight his power was well beyond what he displayed at HW. And I wouldn’t say his losses to Byrd and 40 and Sultan at 42 is an indication with him having problems with southpaws. Other than I can see your argument as I said this would be a clear 50/50 fight..

    Yeah you got stopped by a blown up MW so it definitely would have been difficult for you. You would have been outboxed and probably stopped, even in your Evan Fields mode.
