James English reminds me of when Danny Dyer used to do that ‘Deadliest Men’ programme. Sucking up to so-called hard men and criminals.
His story isn't even finished yet. Surely he should wait a few more years, achieve more and then do something like this.
This one was absolute gold, he's sucking up to Thick Vic, thinking he's amazing, Vic then tells a story of how him and his idiot mate balls everything up so incredibly bad that it's like a scene from Snatch. This content is protected
I like the podcast, listened to about 20 episodes. Was very skeptical about it but James English gives great advice and is all about self development which I'm a big fan of. He usually just let's his guests talk with little interference but he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Most his guests are on the same message but you can tell the ones that just glorify everything they do compared to the ones who have remorse and want to be a better person. Listen to the ones recently with that pornstar bird, her story will make you grimace but she doesn't realise there are deep issues there.
I do sometimes listen, but I find it fairly vapid and it’s obviously marketed at the same audience as those who watch those cheap British gangster films starring Craig Fairbrass. I find his self development stuff a bit basic too, but as you say he’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer. That being said, it can be an entertaining listen particularly if you take it with a pinch of salt. I used to prefer the Shaun Attwood podcast before he became a bit weird and it started to branch into too much wacky conspiracy stuff.
Yeah I haven't listened to them all but some have been quite inspirational some have been scally ****ing dickheads. I'll dip in and out but won't listen to every pod, just people I have an interest in like Edwards or somebody who's background interests me like the detective he had on.
Don't mind his podcast when he has decent guests on. Can't be arsed with the has been plastic no mark gangsters that talk absolute bollocks. Can't be arsed with Sunny either. Little melt.
He is absolutely terrible at the job. He tries to talk for the guest and make them agree with his line of thinking. He is stupid.
He's certainly clumsy and not the smartest but never heard him talk for the guest, quite the opposite. He certainly struggles when guests aren't as forthcoming. Heard far worse podcasts put there than this one.
He did it non stop on the episode I listened to, basically saying I feel this way about life so that is how you should feel.
