Needs to fight people closer to his own size. I think it's true his arrogance cost him the Lopez fight. Huge size difference and he thought it wouldn't matter because of his ability. Probably nobody told him Pac was on roids all those years, that's why he was going up and hurting LMW sized fighters.

I think arrogance was a part of it. He doesn't put enough time into studying his opponent, seems like he's very inwardly focused. There was hype and dumb takes about Lopez and his style floating around and it seems like Loma bought into it which I can't imagine he would have if he had really dissected film of Lopez.

At the time I was psyched for a rising star to take a chance and win, but in the two years since then I think it's become clear Loma would have won that fight any other night of his life and it was so close I can't blame him for thinking he did nick it.

 

Really ? In US there are casuals who like Loma ? I never heard of that, only hardcore boxing fans like him in my area, others are just hating on him because he is better than their favorite fighter and some race fans also hate him for obvious reasons.

 

Only thing I don't like about him is that I can't copy his incredible footwork.
