    The right hand that Groves stopped Paul Smith with was a real corker !

    Unfortunately he was basically taped together going into the fight with Callum after the shoulder injury to Eubank which turned into a rush job as they had to remain within a certain time frame to hold the tournament final

    In 1974, the brothers Terry and Johnny Summerhays from Canada fought Wilfred and Frankie Benitez, also brothers, on the same card in Madison Square Garden.

    The Benitez boys came out on top. Wilfred stopped Terry by TKO in the sixth, and Johnny retired on his stool after six rounds of an eight-rounder.

    But wait, there’s more. Gary Summerhays, the third boxing brother of the family, also fought on the card. He lost to Pedro Soto by majority decision over eight rounds.

    I heard Larry Holmes once accused Rocky Marciano of fighting cousins, step brothers and other relatives to pad his record to 49-0, 43 knockouts. Holmes then IBF Champion was talking about his upcoming title defense against World Light Heavyweight Champion Michael Spinks scheduled for Sept 21 1985 on the 30th anniversary of Marciano's last bout against Archie Moore on Sept 21 1955. If Holmes had retained, he would have tied the record of victories but Larry Holmes was defeated by Spinks. The Marciano family was infuriated by the comments made by Holmes.
