You might have it the other way around, it was actually Floyd who was caught with the use of Illegal IV masking & who also had abnormally low testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratios & conducted his very own USADA Assisted Drug Testing which only started when He Officially Announced His Fight's,

Just to let you know that isn't actually Olympic Drug testing, go do some research it will do you good.

It's more interesting for sure than the near farce we got in 2015. Is it any different though? I don't know. I used to think so, but now I don't. Both were aged in 2015, Floyd's approach to the game just aged better for his body. What year would this have been in? 2015 but they just both make 140? No difference.

2011 when the fight should have happened? I still don't know. 2015 Pacquiao was weathered but not 100% shot. I just think Pacquiao has a sore spot for being counterpunched by a tough, technical boxer. His signature wins came against guys who were not technical counterpunchers. I think Clottey is probably the most interesting example from around this era, but it seemed like Clottey was just there to pick up a check. Morales, Marquez and Mayweather all pointed out some interesting pieces of how Pacquiao can be fought.

When it comes to Pacweathering these days, I just have to go back to this line of thinking:
How is Floyd vs. Marquez in 2009 a complete mismatch, then Floyd is supposed to lose to Pacquiao in 2010-2012? During this time, Pacman and Marquez go tit for tat in 2011, then Pacman gets KOd stiff as a board by an older Marquez in 2012. I know Boxing Math is BS, but it's still hard to reconcile for me. Affecting the weight from 147 to 140 doesn't change much, because I genuinely believe both guys could have made 135 during this timeframe. I think the more interesting clash is if they met at 130 in a time machine. I can't find an actual place in space-time, because if they both met in 2005, Pacman would be at 130 and Floyd at 140.

I think the best version of this fight happens in early 2010 at 140 and it would have been a lot better than what we got in 2015.

Just going back to 2015 where had Pacquiao just pulled out because of his shoulder & rescheduled, that alone would have made it a different or more of a compelling fight at least from his side,

Yeah if Pacquaio's prime wasn't done by at an earlier date then his fight against Margarito definitely made it certain of that fact,

I think we get forgetful after the fact & if we were to go back & access the earlier Pacquiao you might come to a different conclusion, just looking at his Physique, Foot work, Mitt work & Conditioning shows you the contrast between him then & when they finally fought all the way in 2015,

It's just Manny even being at 50-70% and here after did so well that we often forget he was no where near his best even then.

I didn't see Manny doing too well in 2015, he looked faded and pretty much got dominated. I can only remember one solid straight left connecting all fight. I can generally remember every time and by whom Floyd got punched hard by, it was that infrequent. That being said, if Floyd fought Pacquiao how he fought Castillo in the first fight, Pacman could have knocked him out for sure.

Yeah he even flew out his Sparring partners out 3 weeks before the fight & cut down on training due to his shoulder, the fault falls on him & his inadequate Team,

I believe it was after he landed that straight left when he reaggravated his injury, along with Pacquiao looking faded in the same token Mayweather himself did nothing impressive either & this was his best chance to leave an impression on Pacquaio face.

At 130, sure. But he was not doing that at 135 or 140. At 135, only N'Dou was stopped. At 140, Gatti Bruseles, and Mitchell. hardly a string to brag about. Hell, Sharba was blasted out by Tszyu just earlier.

Tyzu was always blasting people except for Cool Vince Philips. I had the pleasure of being in Manchester when the great champion lost to Hatton. Ricky got away with blue murder that night with his rough tactics however that’s home advantage for you.
