Takam was outpointing Joyce before he got KO'd, and the guy was 40 years old. What's your point? Wilder gets "outclassed" all the time, but KO's them all, so really Wilder is outclassing his opponents because he has what it takes to win. Winning is all that matters, and if you continue to winning you're the one really outclassing everyone. Takam is a better boxer than Chisora, but Chisora is better because he wins. It wasn't a lucky punch, it was calculated.
Joyce wanted to wear Takam down and make him gas by setting a high pace and since Joyce is slow, that came with the risk of losing rounds, but he stopped him. Before Chisora got the KO he was getting outclassed wheras Joyce has a case for being slightly ahead as every round was close. Chisora did beat him but to say that Chisora and Takam aren't on the same level is ridiculous don't you think ? They are very similar fighters and are at the same level. Both are gatekeepers
Every interview I see, Parker seems more confident and determined than I think I have seen him in years Needs to really make a statement here
I have been supporting and waiting for Parker to show something for years. Either he is lazy and doesn't like training, or he has a terrible gas tank. Either way, I don't support the thread statement.
If you have watched Parker in the last year you will know a lot has changed I am sticking with my prediction on this fight
Parker hasnt really beat anyone of note....his win over Ruiz in 2016 was pretty debatable and could have so easily went the other way!! So then that leaves a split decision and an unanimous decision (both debatable in some folks eyes) over gatekeeper Chisora. Nothing ive seen suggests Parker takes this easy.....but happy to return on the 24th September to have a post fight discussion
