I didn't think it was possible to go more full on mental than Wilder after Fury took his soul but I think AJ just eclipsed him.
Close but claiming that your costume betrayed you and your head was dented by gypsy magic takes the cake.
Holy crap. I just had a chance to hear what they were saying to each other face to face. Joshua was very upset and asked Usyk, " How could you beat me? Because of skill?" The man was bugging. I know he trained hard, and his testosterone is raging but he should have maintained composure as a professional. Usyk even tried to reason with him, but Anthony lost his ****. Nobody beats Wilder excuses to this day, come on the costume thing was just next level ridiculous. But let's wait Hearn or AJ may come with something new and originally!
Pair of dossers really, they need to fight each other to determine who’s the biggest dosser of them all
Joshi went more mental right after, but Wilder then went on a months long mental streak, where he went trough every stage except exceptance. So unless joshi goes down the same path, it's probably Wilder.
Wilder by far. It's not even close. AJs list of excuses are at least in the realms of believability - he came to boxing late, he's not a natural talent etc. Wilder genuinely believed he was the bloke from Black Panther and then when he lost accused his trainer of drugging him and Fury of having loaded gloves.
Big difference between losing the plot in the ring immediately after 12 hard rounds of getting pummeled, and a months long, cold blooded, systematic split from reality lol.
Well, Joshua picked up all Usyk's belts and threw them out of the ring. He grabbed Usyk's flag from him and almost got into a tug of war with him when Usyk wanted it back. He took the Mic and basically said to Usyk you can't punch how did you beat me ... like he didn't think he lost. He embarrassed himself in front of people who actually fought in Ukraine by saying he didn't know what was going on over there but other fighters have fought when their country was at war. And he kept cursing at all the people who don't think a guy with a 24-3 record is an all-time great. On top of that, Fury was younger and bigger than Wilder. Usyk was older and smaller. I vote Joshua.
