We always ene up saying "atleast the right guy won"...

Feldman was brought in to have AJ win.
They probsbly thought the brit and ukrainian were to even it out and hsve AJ walk away with a undeserved sd.

Either way how to get rid of these ps judges that make the sport look bad?

My idea is a rating system where scorecards by fans like eyeonthering or an expert panel or something reflects how bad a judge ****ed up.

Either the guy is corrupt or incompetent to score a million dollar fight, right?

So each judge gets rated accordingly on how much their card reflects the fight.
Fights get categorized in sections, like F till A depending on ranking and event.

Judges get paid more for bigger fights and get dropped down the ranking if they mess up their cards and brought before a comission to explain if its an atrocious card.
Therefore they will be more motivated to score a fight correctly.

To prevent them flying straight and cashing out on a big fight there will be a group of judges pre selected for a big fight and the day before a fight they will be selected and not revealed to promoters.

Also as far as im concerned they will score the fight from monitors and the total will be brought up to 5 judges.

Basically is we need to held these mf's accountable for their addalaide Byrd cards to improve the integrity of the sport.

It needs to be fan initiated with support from boxers since we are the only ones that care.
Boxing organisations are corrupt and promoters prefer it like this.

    Thoughts?

    You can and you wont.

As long as people are handling them they will always be robberies.

    People are corrupt.

They're saving AJ from looking bad. Lots of casual boxing fans didn't and won't watch this fight. They will only look at result and say "oh, according to 1 judge, AJ won, so there's not much difference between Usyk and AJ". And AJ will protect his legacy.

It really depends on why they are corrupt. Fights like Kovalev vs. Ward or Zhang vs. Hrgovic had these scores because of geopolitical reasons. Were these judges threatened?

Otherwise judges need to be investigated. It's as simple as that. Check their phones, computers, bank accounts.

Don't think scoring from monitors is the solution: two-dimensional images are not reliable representations.

I'd like to see judges hand in their score after each round and the majority score awarded. So if two judges score a round 10/9 and the third judge scores it 9/10, the round is scored 10/9. And so on. That would eliminate the mis-scoring of rounds by a single judge being decisive.

One combined score is read out and if that comes in as a draw, we then go back to individual judges' scorecards in the way it's done now, to find the winner.

Amuses me how people talk about corrupt judges, but never seem to wonder who’s turning the key inside their back.

    “Matchroom stoppage”, “Matchroom decision”…

Shouldn’t this be dealt with on a more macro level? Of course, it won’t be. Sport is big business before anything else. The same people think that anti-doping governance is effective and ethical and that these top level athletes are not all joosed.

Yeah but nobody in his right mind will say Canelo was close to Floyd for example. And in the end defeat is defeat. We have witnessed so many corrupt cards over the years. Something needs to be done about it.

Yeah but we would need a structure like they have with tennis, nba or even corrupt FIFA to get tid of matchrooms and promoters influence.

I dont know how boxing can get that but it seems near impossible unfortunately.
