I liked him at first but then the cracks began to show and it dawned on me that it was all an act.

I expect to see him trying to rebuild his image by playing the victim card very soon

He took the belt out of Usyk's hands. Look at 1:20. You can see one of the belts draped on Usyk's forearm.

Usyk had the right reaction... by not doing anything and let AJ continue his tantrum. If Usyk retaliated in any way, the whole thing would have turned into a big brawl.

It's no wonder Usyk took the Ukrainian flag back when AJ started talking. I've lost respect for AJ. I get that he's emotional, but he was a powder keg ready to blow.

Trying to read his lips I think he was saying ‘These are my belts’ or ‘These were my belts.’ Something like that.

He clearly treated Usyk’s belts as his personal property. He’s the poster boy for entitlement. (Except he doesn’t actually have any ‘titles,’ which is the base of the word.)

He asked Usyk "you are not strong how did you beat me? Because of skills." He was very emotional but he gave Usyk his props and thats good enough for me.

I thought initially at the time it was possibly a symbolic (very bad one) way of saying the belts are not as important as the fighters. A messed up statement of sorts. Which even if so is still badly fecked up.

It was just all so bizarre.

A train wreck unravelling :icon_popcorn:. Boxing will always reveal your true character :naughty2:. How flimsy was the mask? He was always a bellend though :deal:. They'll probably end up booking him into The Priory or something :drooling:.

He's lucky Fury never got on the mic in pressers against him. He would have folded heavily with just a few little screw turns.

If that had been Fury who'd done that it would be a big story and he would be getting absolutely crucified on a molten cross for it by the press

    He did. Well spotted.

He was just itching to start a fight with someone, preferably a lot smaller and older than him as evidenced by him losing it with another senior citizen a bit later on.

He's a bully. Usyk was pure class and he restrained himself but he definitely would've leathered him had he actually attacked any of his team

“You people clearly don’t understand the situation in Ukraine. … Sorry, Usyk, step back and listen and maybe you’ll learn something while I explain how war is not good … anyway, as I was saying …”

He didn't. He says, "I don't care about strong, I am skilled, skills win boxing, you're not strong, how did you beat me? How? I had character and determination.”

He was raging because he thought that he won. After the final round ended, right up until the decision is given, Joshua is fine. Look at his face when Usyk is announced the winner; Joshua cannot believe it. His reaction was the same after their first bout as well. Then he starts inferring that the only reason Usyk won was because of a sympathy vote due to Ukriane's ongoing was with Russia.

Only after he's lobbed the belts, disrespected Usyk and practically his whole team and stolen the centre of ring to to say his peace does he rein himself in a bit with a few embarrassing hip-hip-hoorays for Usyk as though it was his birthday.
