Many of us assumed that if we had another Ring Magazine champion the size of Usky, that they would be a wrecking machine.

We didn't expect such a man to be a jester.

We assumed that the way for a bigger man to fight a guy like Usky was very negatively.

Now we are asking why Joshua didn't go after Usky harder.

I made a separate valid point regarding body & muscle mass per square inch.
Let us say someone is 7' tall & Usyk's weight, while we can cite advantages in height & reach, the giant man will have less strength since he has much less muscle per inch.

Same reason I like a Wilder or Ruiz to be able to win-& to counter the body fascism that everything must be bigger & stronger-& often drugged up-that there is only one way & physical type to win.

Top normal sized HW's can beat the S-HWs, but there comes a point where the Height & Reach disparity becomes a major obsticle.

i.e Fury vs Usyk at at least 6 inches to 1 odds on.

You admitted by default I did not "miss the point", now to tell you why it is relevant.
It is not an obscure & at all difficult to glean.
The subject & thread is about whether folks re-evaluated if older fighters are now viewed in a more favorable light, & surely you know a big part of that is whether they have a better chance against more modern ones.

So when you discuss size as a clear indication of whether a man is competitive...
You are not alluding to fat, but muscular mass & strength.
Thus it is very reasonable to note when a fighter like Frazier has as much functional mass as a taller one (especially below his waist), that would argue for him being more viable against many.
Just like Tyson can be dinged for limited height & reach, but his lean muscle mass for his verticality is impressive & part of his power & punch resistance.


I do not care if you agree or not-as long as you do not harm this forum & are decent to people.
