Prime Michael Grant would have a good chance against Anthony Joshua

    Grant toyed with Izon and was able to defeat Golota after a hard nights work. I think he was better than given credit for. He could shut Joshua's lights out

    They're similar, both are roided up chinny methodical bodybuilders and Lennox Lewis also beats them both

    No, he wouldn't. AJ would KO him early without much troubles. Grant had awful fundamentals, AJ is MUCH better boxer. Even Deontay Wilder would destroy Michael Grant. Both lacks fundamentals, but Wilder has better chin and is much harder puncher.

    Grant looked really bad against Obed Sullivan, Alfred Cole, Ray Anis (whom John Ruiz KO'ed in the first seconds of the fight) and barely got by journeyman Jeff Wooden. I'm not saying Joshua is the second coming of George Foreman (or Larry Holmes as far as skills goes) but he is light years above C-level fighters like Michael Grant.

    Prime Grant not only was KTFOed by Lennox Lewis, he was battered from pillar to post by Golota (deserves the credit for heart though), got knocked down with the very first punch and demolished in 43 seconds by Jameel McCline, and got absolutely annihilated by much smaller Dominic Guinn.

    If anything, Grant was RIDICULOUSLY overrated, and even now, as we can see, he is overrated by Lewis fans

    Michael Grant has as good of a chance as that morbidly obese blob Ruiz, and as we know Ruiz looked terrible against a shot to atoms Chris Arreola

    Lewis is far better than Joshua, Joshua would take at least 4 rounds to beat Grant because Grant can punch so Joshua wouldn't go in there agressive

    Ruiz has very quick hands, good fundamentals and good chin. Grant had awful fundamentals, slow hands and packed grade A china in his chin

    Pillowfisted and dropped and wobbled by the fossil remains of Arreola. The fact that Joshua couldn't KO him says more about Joshua than it does Ruiz. I'd favor Joshua but Joshua isn't all that. Good but not great. Grant would currently be his 3rd best win because Grant has Golota on that resume. It says a lot

    Prime Grant might even beat Joshua to be honest. Dude was tough and his fight with Golota proved that.

    Muhahhahahag some people on here really have nothing better to do, are they??? Don't you have a job dude??? Or something productive???
    Aj will toy with grant.
    And stop compare how a X fighter do against Y fighter and how years later losing a lot of weight and obviously not acclimatise to that weight do against Z fighter.
    Ruiz best shape was against AJ 1, fat, fast, powerful and durable. Hell i will favor Ruiz to stop Grant.
    AJ is 20x class above him.
