His punches had more of a whipping effect when he was younger He was also faster, had lovely scything uppercuts, and he wasn't wearing those big Rival gloves back then This content is protected
His punches looked like this in the 10th when he let himself loose on Joshua. I think its more of a state of mind for Usyk. When he has wind in His sails he whips them and It still looks fantastic.
Yeah. But I think he bulked up and added more muscle during his CW days and obviously since he moved up to HW. 221 is not his optimum weight. I think 210-215 max is his optimum fighting weight but he's still very effective at 221
I don’t know if I’d say more skilled, PAC more direct and Usyk/Loma more schooled in the amateur ranks so much more defensively responsible.
I'd call him a hyper swarmer. How he keeps up his constant movement combined with his peppering jab I do not know. The man is simply incredible.
A pure boxer-swarmer hybrid. He reminds me of a southpaw version of Luis Manuel Rodriguez where he has an elusive, energetic, jerky style of fighting.
Grebian. He's obviously watched film of Harry Greb. Hoping around like a rabbit, slapping the other guy at will with little coming back at him. Feinting, ducking, sliding. Like Harry.
