probable agreed long time months ago most details settled & they are going to play " pantomime ' ' drama show out string it out for weeks & allow social media & sites like the BN24 to hype up free of charge working for free to help them build it up this is what this & boxing social media exist for to build the interest with all the old lady gossip & talk of splits & belts & ducks & retirements & contracts & clauses & jump on every little statement & tweet from boxers & promoters will it/wont it happen take a step back it is fairly obvious this one is happening
Warren has already told the WBC in writing that Fury isn't retiring and intends to fight on. To be honest most of it seems like Usyk fans hoping it doesn't happen as they know the end result a big dirty knockout.
Saudi's spending billions to host big sporting events All they need is them to send the dollar bill and it's on like Donkey Kong. Eddie Hearn desperately trying to secure that December slot is the only threat...but he needs to take his broken goose and put it down.
So easily triggered.... If you actually listen to the conversation Fury says 'I don't rate him, but if everyone else thinks he's a P4P great and an amazing fighter, then ****ing pay me for it'. It's quite obvious Fury doesn't really rate Usyks chances, but so many people have been blowing smoke up Usyks ass Fury has just said '**** it'. Fury knows boxing inside out, he has likely looked at Usyk thoroughly and thought to himself he isn't any threat. It doesn't mean Fury won't milk the money for all its worth.
Yep. Fury is so good at promoting himself because he understands the game: The more divisive and outlandish statements he makes = more headlines are published about him = more people are aware he will fight soon = more people will be emotionally invested in him (whether supporters or detractors) = more people will tune in = more money in his pocket So many people are falling for it hook line and sinker. You just need to look at a few of the anti-Fury threads posted by some of Usyk's biggest fanboys on ESB for proof that it's working.
that's right. for others who don't get it yet let's break it down again agreed already DONE (very very small chance this wont happen) " pantomime ' ' drama show has commenced IS ON AND WE ARE SEEING IT (IT IS ALREADY HERE IN FULL SWING) social media & BN24 exist for what? in grand scheme of things to cheer & boo in pantomime style & amplify pantomime voice of boxers & promoters to turn tiny statements into long talking points - to turn four word tweets in 24 hour media for free hours of voluntary work & then we pay to watch them fight on the screen too
is solid business marketing model Fury's become an absolute master of self promotion & he really does not have to do much it takes a few words to trigger the whole boxing internet community
''It's not about the money'' And how am I triggered when I'm a huge fan of Fury too? Tyson Fury “Usyk is a southpaw, clever, technically very good. He’s smaller as a former cruiserweight champion but he handled Derek Chisora, who is physically tougher than Joshua. “So while I’m absolutely confident of beating Wilder, I’m not so sure about AJ not losing his fight.” Tyson Fury ‘I don’t believe Usyk is a heavyweight for one,’ he told Seconds Out. ‘I think he’s a pumped up cruiserweight who struggles with heavyweights. ‘In my opinion, Derek Chisora beat Oleksandr Usyk; he certainly struggled with Derek Chisora and Joshua is a much bigger, stronger man than Derek. ‘I think he [Joshua] walks straight through Usyk. ‘People are trying to build it up as a scary fight but he didn’t have the power to halt cruiserweights like Mairis Briedis or whoever else he fought.’ Winner: Joshua
Fury used to sing Usyks priases before he became a potential threat to Fury. Did Usyks suddenly get worse or is Fury just talking to be talking.
