Can anybody really be arsed with anything Fury says? Either take the fight or just **** off and let's get some proper fights on.

Fury would be devastated if people actually moved on and stopped talking about him.

I think Fury sounded genuinely agitated in the talk sport interview today. He’ll start as a massive bookies favourite and gain massive financially but it’s a lose lose fight for him. He’s 50lbs (4 weight divisions) heavier than Usyk and 6 inches taller (yeah I know he’s not really 6’9) but it’s a mismatch on paper. Usyk has EVERYTHING to gain and nothing to lose and that makes this very interesting. Fury genuinely doesn’t need this but it’s become legacy defining for him.

Being a massive favourite against a very skilled and unbeaten opponent is Fury's worst nightmare.

I like your angle here. He's already sounding beaten.

Few of us on here posted after Wilder 1 that Usyk would be the most difficult style for Fury when Usyk stepped up to Heavyweight. Joshua and Whyte types simply cannon fodder.

It will be a very intriguing fight and I would never back against the legend known as The Gyspy King.

He's definitely showing signs of cracking. I think when the date gets announced it won't actually take place then, there'll be a lot of messing around, excuses and delaying from the Fury's, he's going to make this all about him and try and create an angle that he's really up against it and the odds are stacked against him, create a narrative that Usyk has it easy etc. To be honest I'd love an Usyk win and a meltdown from Fury similar to AJ's in size but you just know that the Fury's will find a way to raise the bar of wrongful behaviour, it's what they do.

By being dumb and racist, not the best of starts for the man that drove a Ferrari at 140mph towards a bridge, he definitely did.

Been a huge Fury fan his whole career but he's going on like a complete idiot talking about the Usyk fight. Went on talksport saying he'll only fight for 500 million. Then said he's wealthy and doesn't need money, before reiterating he won't fight unless he gets 100 million. It's ridiculous.

At a time AJ has made a complete fool of himself, Fury could become a God by quietly taking the Usyk fight and beating him, bringing all the belts back to Britain. I don't know what he's up to. He used to be funny, not so much anymore.

However, lucky for him, I think three things will happen - he'll take the fight, he'll be paid a huge fee (nowhere near 500 mil obviously) and he'll win the fight. Then all this nonsense will be forgotten and he can ride off into the sunset.

But Fury being Fury, I actually see him doing a sugar ray Leonard and coming out of retirement several times to take on 'the man' and eventually being beaten before retiring once and for all.

Still love watching Fury fight. He's the best heavyweight since Lennox Lewis IMO. But his interviews are now car crash which is sad because he used to be the most entertaining speaker in the game.

Anyway, I'm certain we'll get to see this fight which is the most important thing.

to be fair to Fury, while looking for a new angle to promote the fight, he probable is genuinely sick of all the business BS
    can't find it fun forever
    can't be funny every day
realistically he doesn't have much motivation to fight Usyk
    except the money
yes it is a challenge , a strong one
but the whole ' unification '' thing is probable not important to him as some think
have to remember every belt Usyk has is a belt Fury already threw away

I think Fury is underestimating the good feeling Usyk has amongst British boxing fans.

I like both Usyk and Fury equally but could easily see myself siding with Usyk if Fury is seen to be derailing the fight. I think that’s the case for a lot of people.

Fans just want to see the fight happen, no politics or debates over obscene amounts of money.

Then again - Fury is excellent at playing the villain and promoting fights so hopefully this is all that’s really going on.

Decent shout. I thought Fury was going to walk away from the game. He certainly believed himself even if no one else did, now he’s back already? Next time he retires it’s going to undermine what he says.

Now you mention it I can see Fury keep coming back out of retirement to defend “his throne” and at some point in the future it’ll catch up with him for sure. However a feather fisted cruiser simply doesn’t have what it takes to dethrone the Gypsy King.

The man with terrible mental health problems constantly slating other people and now being xenophobic. I thought mental health’s catchphrase was ‘be kind’?
