I think Fury will run his mouth for a anothrr week on any TV show or podcast that will have him, But will then realize he’s not getting $500 million, and will come up with an “excuse” to accept what he’s offered
This era is dreadful, the Klitschko era was dreadful, the 90's was dreadful and the Holmes era was dreadful. Keep playing the same broken record.
"'fast for a big man' narative he has bullt" Fury's incredible speed and co-ordination for his size has long been noted by trainers and fighters. "Wlad was a shell of himself and bizarrely gunshy" Wlad produced a career best performance 12 months prior to getting schooled by Fury. The narrative that Wlad was finished only emerged after Fury humiliated him, before that it was "Wlad's going to KO the fat gypo in 6 rounds". And then 17 months later Wlad was rejuvenated again, he'd "never looked better" than when he took AJ life and death in Britain. Wlad was always "gunshy" aka conservative, except when he was getting steamrolled earlier in his career. "but you better believe the other stuff is a concern" Fury typically produces his best performances when there's a genuine feeling he could be beaten and he showed considerable grace in defeat in the amateurs. I don't think that the thought of being beaten by a better man terrifies him as it does say, Wilder.
Not at all. I just call it like I see it. Not all eras are dreadful. In recent times the 60s and 80s had some great moments, and the 70s and 90s were excellent eras, period. The fact is that the last few eras have (with a few rare exceptions) sucked.
In his defence, he knew he was going to need to cleanse his system of months of cocaine abuse, steroids and suicidal thoughts. The PEDs were likely to be out of his system by then though.
Wlad looked terrible in his previous fight to Fury against Jennings. Fury fans who always said Wlad sucked, suddenly say he was at his career best for Fury at forty. The lengths fanboys will go to...
He is either pricing himself out (which is in fact ducking), talking out of his ass for attention, or he knows he's asking for a ridiculous amount but is saying it anyways to generate buzz for the fight and keep his name relevant. The fact all 3 are strong possibilities is why this era of heavyweights is so annoying. I don't give a damn who wins, I want Fury to either fight Usyk or go the hell away so we can close this chapter.
