Tua has big time power and an iron chin therefore I give him a chance.

I don’t really have an answer to the question. But I think it would be interesting to see him face a shorter fighter who might have the right tools to square off with him. Tyson was very well accustomed to slipping the jabs of taller men and creating openings against them. What if someone took that away ?

not sure who Tua KO’d in real life? I know in hypotheticals he stops everyone. Iron chin? Yeah he does but neither he nor Tex Cobb or Chuvalo is going to beat Tyson…and I generally am not a defender of Tyson. I just don’t see anyway he hangs with Mike.

Umm John Ruiz, Michael Moorer, Hasim Rahman, Oleg Maskaev, Fres Oquendo, David Izon, Obed Sullivan, all ranked fighters and some who were world champions. Tua was only knocked down once in his career, Tyson was down several times.

Cobb and Chuvalo were featherfisted, they are no where near in power to Tua, Cobb couldn't drop Ken Norton, Chuvalo couldn't drop Floyd Patterson. Tua weould put Norton and Patterson to sleep in less than a round.

Other than prime Joe Frazier, or prime Sonny Liston? No one in my opinion.

It's a bad matchup. Marciano would get brutally knocked out no matter how smart he was. If his IQ was 85 or 185 it would make no difference.

That's easy: Sonny Liston, FOTC Frazier.

I really do not think it is a bad match up, I think Marciano would do the same tactic Holyfield did in the first fight, Smother Tyson's work, make it a inside fight and not a midrange fight, and take the fight to the late rounds. I give Rocky a pretty good chance in pulling it off.

Holyfield had the size and strength to smother Tyson, and that was a past his prime Tyson (although I think Hoylfield gives any version of Tyson problems). Rocky is 185 lbs and had an even shorter reach, how is he going to crowd, smother and push Tyson back? Tyson is faster and would time Rocky everytime he approaches.

Ray Mercer as he was in the fight with Lennox Lewis would at least have a chance.

Unless people discount the possibility entirely, an absolute best Shavers, at just 6’, has the proverbial puncher’s chance - while my money would still be on Mike I’d love to see the first few rounds between those two.

Joe Frazier could beat Tyson though I wouldn't favor him. If the fight gets past 5 rounds Mike would start to doubt himself.

James Toney possibly could frustrate Tyson Ala Buster Mathis Jr. Albeit for a few rounds. Could Mike connect cleanly on Toney?

    Holyfield was bigger than Tyson
