AJ was ahead after 9 rounds. He was definitely winning the fight early on. He had a brilliant gameplan, particularly the body shots and he was timing Usyk was the jab. In Round 9 he had Usyk in serious trouble and looked to be on his way to winning. Usyk made a big comeback in round 10 with that quick start and that slowed AJ down. If AJ would have been able to continue the momentum he had in Round 9, he definitely would have won. But Usyk did what he had to do to turn the tide in Round 10, except for that one big shot by AJ that rocked him, and then in Round 11 it was more of the same and AJ finally started to tire. AJ really paced himself well early on and didn't really gas at all until Round 10.

yea its annoying, so many posters go out of their way in predictions to call robberies and say such and such fighter is invincible with the judges blah blah blah then we see those same two fighters go 0-3 in fights it was clear they lost

just gotta continue the cry baby routine rather than just be happy and move on

The only clear Usyk round out of the first 6 was round 4. 1-3 were good AJ rounds, 2 was a clear AJ round, 1 and 3 were closer but still AJ rounds for the most part. Usyk was being completely exposed by AJ until that late rally starting in the 10th. Are struggling in the first 3 rounds, Usyk finally started to land some decent shots in Round 4 and took that round. But 5 and 6 saw Usyk's struggles continue with more great work from AJ. 7 and 8 were better from Usyk but still close, then Round 9 Usyk was beaten pillar to post. Round 10 and 11 were big Usyk rounds which he needed badly and then a closer round 12. I wasn't surprised Usyk got the decision after what he did in the last 3 rounds, and with the whole feel good Ukraine storyline, but AJ arguably did enough in the fist 9 rounds to win. 1-3, 5-9 were all good AJ rounds, some of those you could give to Usyk but this was a very close fight. If you don't think that was a close fight you don't know what you're watching. AJ did a fantastic job but unfortunately he just let it slip away in round 10 and 11.

Usyk cards aren't half as bad as ginger's cards.

Awarding rounds to a fighter simply because he moves forward like a meat tank and throws ineffective power punches? Seems consistent with most Canelo die hard fans.

He was ahead after 3, and was ahead again after 9. He won 4, 5 and 7 rounds on the cards. That's not at best 4, that's at worst 4.

AJ was landing a steady stream of body shots, and more importantly kept a tight guard and was picking off most of Usyk's shots. Lets keep it real, AJ looked great and was outboxing Usyk in there. Usyk was trying to slip shots and come back with flurries but it wasn't working, AJ was beating him to the punch and it was very impressive. Despite coming up short, AJ definitely deserves credit for an amazing performance.

I wondered what absolute vegetable you must be talking to... as soon as I saw "Show Ignored Content" I knew it was Shadow.
It's despicable that ESB has this **** on the payroll. 'He' drags the quality of the threads through the floor.

Wrong. We just disagree. Boxing is subjective, you can't expect everyone to score fights the same as you. Aren't you in the UK? If you are, then surely you've studied AJ as a fighter. How would you rate his performance vs Usyk? Surely you saw the improvement from him. However you scored it, it's not had to see how well he was doing vs Usyk over the first 9 rounds, and better than a lot of people thought he would do. The change in his style and preparation was very apparent. Working with Robert Garcia paid dividends, while it didn't result in victory, he made significant improvements to his punch selection, work rate, pacing and defense and he gave Usyk a very tough fight. I don't have a problem with Usyk winning, but AJ did very well against Usyk. You can disagree with me all you want, but to call me a troll because I see it a little different than you do is just immature. Grow up and learn to accept opinions different to your own.

AJ didn't start as you say pummeling Usyk from start to finish in that round 9, where as Usyk did more of that from the beginning to the end of Round 10,

I think a re-watch will do us both good.

However you are either going against the grain to try and convince people you know better or you are trolling
