Let's assume that the very flaky and shifty Fury ends up ducking Usyk just like he ducked AJ. What will the historians have to say about that? He is already rightfully regarded as a H2H nightmare, but he has conveniently avoided the 2 best HWs amongst his peer group. Should he duck Usyk will Tyson Fury have a legacy of cowardice? A man of courage would not retire under these present circumstances.
He didn’t duck AJ lol And if he were to duck Usyk which I highly doubt he’d be looked at as another what if heavyweight champion in history. What if meaning he had the tools necessary to be an atg but didn’t do enough to earn the title of Atg And walked away too soon
if he never fights again it will not matter the thing that hurt Fury's legacy is not boxing for 2 1/2 year after beating Wlad
Why would he duck Usyk, he literally has almost every physical advantage he could possibly have over him lol
Correct. History will probably view him as being roughly Bowe, Douglas, Norton level. His resume is extremely underwhelming for a guy who talks so much and is overwhelmingly big with good skills. Even in terms of h2h discussions there isn't much to go off of right now.
He'd be seen as a massive duck, considering Usyk is clearly the man at the moment. He needs to beat Usyk to prove himself as king of the hill. Unless he does that he's second fiddle.
With all due respect, I believe you have it completely backwards. Usyk needs to beat Fury to prove himself as king of the hill, not the other way around.
