Not seen much of Simon Jordan but seems to speak sense whenever I hear him speak about boxing.

Hear him on the radio a bit. He’s normal in my opinion. Others would probably call him, old school/old fashioned and that’s bad these days which is probably why he annoys people.

I remember on Christmas Eve and the pathetic footballers were talking about striking because they have to play too much. The likes of Guardiola and Klopp have put it in their heads to do it no doubt. Jordan was having none of it saying the overpaid player has already far too much power and rightly so. Martin Keown was trying to stick up for the players and it was just embarrassing.

the thing is, he says it’s a fact cause the judges had him level but we all know what judges are like as does spencer and In a few weeks time if one of his mates in boxing is on the end of a bad scorecard he will completely contradict that statement.

I think Spence is just a company man. Saying what he needs to say to make more money in his roles.

I’m a big fan of Jordan, think he’s got potential to be a great sports broadcaster. I’d love him to be fronting football coverage on Sky.

I find the excuse making, saying he started later so should be applauded for how far he come a bit pathetic. People think what they think, you can’t shove it down their throats.

He really showed his weaknesses, how many fighters admit to this stuff, “I’m not a 12 round fighter”, “I’m to big to throw combinations”, if anything they say the opposite, “I could have gone 12 more rounds” etc. just shows how unsure AJ is of himself and the acceptance he demands from others. These enablers don’t help him when reality hits. Spenser embarrassed himself there imo

He's really good. The bar is low these days, though. If someone is honest, then they are almost automatically one of the better pundits.

I have noticed a lot of people saying things like "I don't agree with X, Y or Z that Jordan said, he's a bellend." You don't need to agree with everything someone says. Some people seem to want an echo chamber.

I didn't used to like Jim White. He rubbed me up the wrong way somehow, but since listening to the show on Talksport I think he is actually quite a funny guy. I like how he plays devil's advocate. White and Jordan are a good pairing. The rest of Talksport people are awful. Genuinely so thick. Darren Ambrose is shocking. Gabriel Agbonlahor, bloody hell. Andy Goldstein as arrogant as they come. Martin Keown always sticking up for football players no matter what. Ally McCoist is decent enough.

Jordan is quality IMO. Whether you agree with him or not he always makes a coherent argument every time and actually backs himself and believes what he says. And he doesn’t mind telling people to their face either. He was calling out Fury yesterday on the whole I don’t care about the money nonsense.

I touched on it earlier in the week, as in AJ's media team, and that's what they are.

When on earth have we ever heard the excuse about the age a fighter started boxing? Seriously like. That matters nothing when you're a 32 year old former unified champion, trying to reclaim the belts, while laying claim to being the best in the world. It's ridiculous but for some reason because it's AJ we have to listen to it. And for anyone interested in that sort of thing, Sergio Martinez started boxing when he was twenty-five.

When have we ever heard the excuse about a champion having too many big fights in a row as a reason for them acting like a complete idiot in the ring? Serious question again.

When have we ever been reminded about how hard a fighter trains, so as not to criticize them?

This stuff is baffling and it's only making things look worse but I suppose it's easier than saying "we lied to you about AJ from day one".

As for Jordan, he looks a good pundit to me. Called Fury out on the phone about his money demand nonsense, and called Spencer Oliver out for being a fanboy while collecting a pundits wage. That's all we can ask for.
