I would argue that LL's performances against Mercer and Bruno we're actually pretty impressive as both Mercer and Bruno we're in very good shape and highly motivated, particularly in Bruno's case as it was literally 'The Battle of Britain'.

Mercer took full blooded shots off Lewis that would have destroyed 90% of HW's at the time and Lennox was chin checked consistently like never before by a very heavy handed Mercer (see the destruction of Morrison for proof of that point).

And then there was the way LL finished Bruno that had me squinting through my fingers at the time.

A motivated Fury will give Usyk all he can handle and should Usyk come through victorious, only then would I even consider to make parallel comparisons of LL and Usyk.

Agree with your point and the most fundamental difference between LL and AJ is Lewis's far greater willingness to pull the trigger on that laser accurate nuke of a right hand he's got and let's not forget the uppercut that almost decapitated Vit Klit.

It is tiresome & hurts your bias to either fudge the numbers or not bother to look them up.
Holyfield was not 210 lbs., & adding 4 years to his age is just wrong.
It is as sad & biased as repeatedly slamming a fighter for being a vegetarian.

Don't see any past or present fighter just walking through a focused, determined Lewis.

Lennox didn't beat 36 year old Holyfield, did he? No, he didn't. Total fabrication. And what I meant is that he was in the 210s, like when I say Usyk is 220 I mean he's in the 220s. I also have no idea why you're rambling about vegetarians

Ridiculous comment

Are you saying that one of the greatest known robberies in boxing history discredits Lennox’s performance in the first fight?

Just stop it. You take no responsibility for your mistakes, then are rude.

1) You said Holyfield was 210 lbs. If you meant that he is "in the 210's"-& are not being honest-you are both literally wrong, & nobody will know you mean this-I do not know if some might believe your stated intention, but people liked my comment because you sound like you are not not being fair by distorting the numbers.
IF you are gonna round off, it is a matter of integrity not to do so in the direction which exaggerates your argument.

2) The most harmless thing you said was asking about the vegetarian comment.
I thought you would recognize that this was the repeated & senseless statement of the OP re: buried in commentary putting down fighter's abilities for reasons as stupid as their hairstyle.

3) You really do not know that almost everyone everywhere believes Lewis was robbed?
I do not recall an actual 100% controversy on this scoring site before- & the average scores gave Holyfield only 2 rounds! https://eyeonthering.com/boxing/undisputed-evander-holyfield-vs-lennox-lewis-i

4) But you want to stick to technical victories? It was later the same year when Lewis finally got his deserved victory.
Still nowhere near 40: you must know this, hence you are not being honest when you try to distract from your unfair & inaccurate statement.

Now do you also round off anything to 40 that is at least 35? :duh
You might claim that if it was not so laughable.
Just say sorry I was not accurate & go forth & sin no more.

That would mean that Oleksandr Usyk is already TOP 5 HW ATG, but I don't think that is true.

Did Lewis also beat 214-lbs Zeljko Mavrovic with non-existant resume "by murder"? Or 6'0'' journeyman Levi Billups?

Dead on! I like Usyk a lot. I said he would beat LL. I just feel his sickness and movement woul give LL problems. But your post is 100% correct. Some people can't hide their blatant hypocracy. They give Usyk big ups for Chazz and Chisora, yet dump on Tucker? LOL

1.) In boxing culture, people say 37, 38, 39 is 40 all of the time. You know this, so why feign ignorance?

2.) Holyfield wasn't 36 when Lennox beat him. Why not just admit it?

3.) When people talk about a fighter like Tyson Fury, they say 270 pounds. Actually, he was 278, closer to 280 than Holyfield was to 220, but he is almost never called a 278 pound fighter. Again, this is normal in boxing culture.
