I never seen anything like it. the mask well & truly slipped & we saw grown man morph into embarrassing spoiled child in front of our eyes. there was so much going on there. this just goes to show what can happen when you build someone image up to be far much better than they are. in terms of talent & in terms of overall character. when that bubble burst It's messy

I’m surprised AJ didn’t call time out half way though the fight and request Usyk to throw less combinations, as he shouldn’t be expected to keep up. AJ and Eddie need to change the rules a bit, when he fights, the rounds should be determined by how tired AJ gets, If he’s blowing a bit it’s time to wrap it up, you can’t expect a guy with big muscles like that to finish the full 12, so unfair, the poor man has to breathe heavily and everything.

Dean Whyte speaks a lot of sense to be honest. Not a confrontational guy and knows the sport inside out. Shane Fury on the other hand is a test.

The wierd thing is the two british guys i remember most for ending up anything but humble was joshua and hatton. Two guys that constantly went on about being humble as well. Not sure if its a sub conscious thing where deep down they know their not humble so need to keep telling us their humble to counteract it. Or sometimes the more you try to be something you often a lot of the time end up going the other way. Like when you go out for a night out saying not having many tonight....its an almost guarantee your going to end up smashed. I think both did try to be humble probably overly so....and somehow ended up anything but. Just dont think its a fake persona where they go in an interview saying look i m humble the camera goes off and their laughing away going bloody hell good line from me i m kidding them all on i m humble. I dont think their even aware of it. Was a big hatton fan so will forgive him.
I met Hatton 3 days ago and he did have an approachability to him. Seems humble enough on the outside
I think i meant for a moment in time. Hattons a legend. Like after the tyszu fight when he was speaking in the third person a lot and started believing everything was about him etc. He kind of lost his way a bit with it. All the while continually telling us he was just like everybody else....as he went for a pint and played darts etc. Almost became a bit of a standing joke by the end. I think hes since said he had a bit of a thing about people thinking he thought he was above his station so tried to counteract it or something like that. But at some point along the way i think he did lose his humbleness. Similar to joshua. Just striking that the two of them we,re the ones that kept going on about being humble. Hattons a good fella tho. Pretty sure i,ve got a photo with him somewhere in the house. Was just from an after dinner speech thing or something like that a few years back. Hope hes doing well.
