Would’ve been an amazing fight and truly one of the fights I would’ve loved to see. I can still kinda see Pac winning but man did Valero have a chance.

 

Nah, Valero would have been smoked by any elite fighters. Pac murks Valero badly.

Valero’s best win was DeMarco FFS, the same guy that Broner made much easier work on.

 

It is interesting how some people still think that Valero would have had a shot against Pac. It’s the same with Ike Ibeabuchi where people actually think Ibeabuchi would have had a chance on beating Lewis, Tyson, or both Klitschko bros.

Would not have counted out Valero against most guys his size at the time. Rumor's were he bested Morales and ODLH while doing some sparring.

 

Looked a damaging puncher but I think he was also a bit open which could be fatal against Pacquiao.

Wide punching? He threw pretty straight with both hands most of the time

 

He looped a lot of punches too. Valero was a crude fighter. Look at the OP.

 

yeah, guess he did at times. Followed him from around fight 20 or so. He had the potential, can't deny. But a 'you never know' type of fighter.

 

I would have liked to see him step up in his class of opponent before I jumped on his bandwagon. I don’t know how well he would have fared against “A” level opponents. However, there is no doubt in my mind that Pac would have lit him up.
