But Canelo already owns 2 divisions. Went up to fight Bivol and has more than 3 times the resume. You can't call Bivol p4p until he settles up at 175 with Beterbiev.

Usyk is a truly brilliant top tier ELITE fighter. The deserved P4P #1............. but he's the number 2 man in the HW division. Not a single stoppage at HW to his name yet, needs more than a win over AJ to overtake Fury I'm afraid.

 

Canelo can own someone ***, just that. He lost twice to GGG. I don't give a hot crap what the judges score the fight, when this troll is always getting pre-filled card with 4-0 at least.
If his matches was judged correctly he wouldn't have even been in top 10, so be quiet.

 

Come close or not come close doesn't matter. All that matter is either a fight is a WIN or a Lose.
And yeah your boy run into retirement, instead of facing motivated Wlad, who has night off, and was 40 years old already.

WTH?? No, not even close. Canelo isn't the standard bearer for any P4P ranking requirements.

 

PFP’s don’t get thoroughly schooled by guys one division north of their natural weight. Canelo was outclassed and had no answer for Bivol’s beat down. He just kept doing the same things that weren’t working. I was surprised by how poorly he performed and how thoroughly he was outclassed. If he was sparked out in one round, it would have been less embarrassing because his opponent was slightly bigger. That was not the case, he was given a boxing lesson by a guy he was expected to beat. At least by oddsmakers and most “experts” and fans.

Congrats on finding the only list that ranks Canelo so high. He was exposed during the Bivol fight and I would be shocked if he ever fought Bivol again at any weight. Bivol would do the same thing again and Canelo would have no answer. PFP guys should at least be able to make it interesting but that was a one sided affair by a superior boxer. Deny it all you wish but there aren’t enough steroids or Clen in the world to change the outcome if they meet again. Don’t sweat it, I’d be shocked if Canelo ever agreed to fight Bivol again. He knows what would happen.

 

That's what I mean, he could be anywhere between 1-5, and I wouldn't argue, but if he was not #1 before this fight, why on Earth would this fight (against someone he already handled with success) move him up? There shouldn't have been any movement at all.

 

So Canelo is so big now that he's only going by one name? Like Cher or Beyonce?

 

The man who has a record of 57-2-2 over 3 weight classes has a better resume than a guy with 19 fights at one weight. Not even trying to hate on Bivol but Canelo has done far more P4P.

 

That's not how it works dude

 

McDonnell was a multi time champion who outweighed Inoue by 13 pounds rehydrated (144 to 131). By % that's a similarly large weight gap to 22 pounds. AJ is better than McDonnell but Inoue KOd McDonnell in 1 and Usyk won a competitive decision.

 

They put Usyk at #5 after the rematch Joshua win and still have Canelo as #1.
