And yes, Pedraza abandoned his skilled, angular boxing. Now he's straightening up and looking fairly normal. I knew he would abandon that very beautiful boxing he started with. I fought a guy three times who fights just like this. First round, he would be bending his legs the entire time, staying ducked with a tight guard, moving, dodging, I couldn't hit him, then the second round, he would stand up straight, he was slow, not moving much, I would start being able to hit him. Then the third round, he was burned out and I would start throwing left hooks to the head or body jabs, and then occasionally throwing a big cross right after I threw either. I managed to beat him down twice, the style he came out with was just way too draining. Of course, Pedraza is still doing fine, world class athlete with world class conditioning of course.

 

Good fight. I have it 4-1 Commey, first round was close and could have gone either way. Commey is getting the best of most exchanges but he’s not liking that body work form Pedraza. I like to see a Commey bullying him against the ropes.
