Hearns only lost to SRL in a great fight. SRL is arguably the greatest fighter ever or are you going to say Pacquiao beats SRL. No version of Pacquiao even the one scared of needles refusing to drugs test beats SRL.

I assume you mean welterweight because otherwise it is hard to match it up. Tommy wins but it would not be as easy and people think. Manny has a lot of experience, but Tommy would settle down after going after him early and start to jab and counter right and Manny would be stopped in about 6 rounds, more from the jab than from the right. I think Manny is smart enough to avoid the right for a while. Tommy in 1984 is a different story. He stops Manny in 4 with a right hand.

Because the odds of Hearns winning by KO is about 200%

If Pac fought in the 80’s..

He’d stay at 135 his entire career..

I guess Pac could fight small and hope Hearns gets back ache reaching down.

The Cobra would have too much size and venom.

Hearns by murder. Hearns just has too many advantages here. He has an 11in reach advantage, and he has a substantial power advantage while giving up little in terms of speed.

It isn't even just size. Everything about Hearns's build was optimized for him to be able to have his height and reach, with that level of power, without being 20+lbs heavier. It isn't size. It's everything.

Hearns easily. Why? Because he used to used to fight in the olden days, so he's invincible.

2 fighters I admire and respect, but neither of which I am an actual fan. Tommy destroys Manny. Manny stands no chance against Tommy

    Definitely not invincible.

But he would have an 11in reach advantage, he had a great jab to use with that advantage, and he hit way, way harder than any tall lanky guy has any right to.

I'm a big pac fan but this is a mismatch. Hearns by spectacular KO mid rounds.
