Should these guys be inducted into the IBHOF: Bruno, Eubank. Haye and Mayorga?

Don’t think Eubank was known enough in the US or Bruno respected enough over there.

 

There’s no official definition or anything. Bit like a novelty thing.

 

Eubank and Bruno easily belong in there

 

You don't think a 2 weight champ with 15 defenses under his belt and only lost once inside the distance ( eye trouble against a cruiser weight) warrants a place in that organisation ?
I believe that the persona and traits of Eubank distract from his achievements' he was a very formidable fighter , teak tough, had abundance of stamina, possessed of a granite chin, an indomitable will to win, and bravery beyond the call, the cut to his tongue in the 1st Benn fight, was by all standards horrific, and he was swallowing blood for round after round, notwithstanding the brutal assault on his body, that left him urinating blood for days, against Thompson his eye was swollen shut from about midway, but still he marched forward onto more heavy and hurtful punches from a man who was a renowned puncher 2 weights above his natural weight.
For me, all the hype and bluster aside, he is one of our finest fighters, and would have given most ( if not all ) of the past champs a very uncomfortable night when fully motivated.

Can't see why not, they all had an high level of success.

I rate Eubank not as real world champion . in any weight class. this was only wbo title .
good fighter yes .tough yes. & I even did like his persona
but he was not ever top boxer on the class of the world level.

I don’t think any of them deserve a place in the hof although they all had notable success, with all but Bruno being a two weight world champions.

Eubank- 2 weight WBO world champion with a bunch of defenses but held the lowly wbo belt in the early 90s which was next to worthless. Best wins, Nigel Benn, Malinga, Rocchigiani, Watson. Mega fights with Benn and Watson.

Mayorga- 2 weight world champ, unified and lineal WBC WBA welterweight champion and WBC 154 champion. Best wins, Vernon Forrest twice, Fernando Vargas, Andrew Lewis and Piccirillo. Mega fights with Trinidad and Oscar De la Hoya

Frank Bruno. WBC Heavyweight Champion. Best wins, Oliver McCall, Coetzee. Mega fights with Mike Tyson twice and Lennox Lewis.

David Haye. Unified WBA, WBO, WBC Cruiserweight Champion, WBA Heavyweight champion. Wins over Valuev, John Ruiz, Mormeck Chisora and Enzo Mac. Mega fight with Wlad Klit

 

It's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Skill. Bruno and Eubank were both very famous people and still are.
