Someday he will be Euro level, and perhaps UK level.

Anderson clearly needs to step up.

Jared Anderson is around the same point of his career that Joseph Parker was in at his age. Parker fought Ruiz for the title at 24 or 25 years old. I don't think Parker stepped up too soon. I'd like to see Anderson built up around the same pace.

It's ironic that he didn't fight Ruiz until his 22nd fight

Wheras Anderson is a mere 22 years of age.

If Anderson doesn't get KO'd i guarantee he'll be fighting for a title by the time he's 20 fights in, preferably 16

Jared "all-American hype job" Anderson appears to be all sizzle & no sausage. Time to come out from hiding under Bob's apron strings & step it up.

Was gonna, coulda, shoulda...I think Anderson beats Makhmadov by 30 meters if that match gets made.

Yeah, those Kiwi heavies take an age to step up. And then when they do, they usually get slapped back down again. Like Junior Fa.

Launching New Zealand heavyweights isn't easy on account of the Kiwi being a flightless bird.

    12 fights in...

Most top fighters didn't fight top contenders 12 fights in bar a few examples.

Anderson does need to step up soon but criticising him for not having fought any top guys 12 fights in is ridiculous

He's only in the spotlight because no one else is claiming it.

There's like 14 years between these two and Wilder, 10 or 12 between them and Ruiz.

There's a whole missing era of HWs whose only reasonable representative is Hrgovic, who isn't really acting like someone impatient to wear the crown.

If both him and Torrez stay at it things will get better because there is only so much room at the top. Even if it takes 12 years for them to fight each other they will push the opponent quality a little bit at least.

Pray for their health and safety because the sport can't last with a competitive HW division.

Back from the dead and hiding behind other alts to resume your anti American agenda. Seek help for your inferiority complex.

If I had a prospect, I'd have them fight 4-5 times a year, against a variety of styles.

If you hype this guy more, I would want him to get KO'ed more than Sanchez.

Others have addressed the point already, but he's still very much at the learner stage. I'd expect him to take on a sharper opponent in 2023, but he's a ways off from fighting for a title.

The donut hole forming in the HW division is ominous. At this rate Joshua will be getting title shots until he's 40, simply because there's no one else to do so. Where are the guys in the 26-32 yo range ready to take the baton?

Too bad Anderson didn't shut the grunting mouth of that mouth breather Stevenson.

the difference is makhmudov would step up , but he can’t get fights, while this hype job will take wilder’s route.
