Oh for ****s sake I assumed Ruiz vs Ortiz would be a saturday night US and sunday morning UK, but now just realised the American idiots have decided to hold it on a sunday night and therefore monday morning for me. Wow thanks assholes!!!

Man, I like ortiz, I really like him, but his punch resistance is completely gone, he's shot as ****.

    Ruiz by KO.

You may be right but we’ve seen guys look completely shot and then put together good performances next time out:

Roberto Duran made a career of it past his welterweight days.

Evander Holyfield struggled with blown-up middleweight Bobby Czyz and rag-dolled Mike Tyson next time out.

I’m leaning to Ruiz, but his rapid weight loss took his chin, plus fighting a southpaw, it won’t be easy. Hopefully he’s settled into his weight now.

A tale of two has-beens on a $75 PPV with a garbage undercard to boot? The sport of boxing needs to do better than this.

I think Ruiz will be tough cuz of his hand speed. A broken clock is right twice a day, and I think eventually Ruiz would catch him. He's also MUCH better at finding the body than AJ who got a bit of credit for hurting Usyk to the body, making him gunshy. Body shots could effect the stamina of the older Ortiz.

Ruiz looks to be in good shape! I’ve been fooled by lighting and camera angles before but this time it’s real! I think maybe. I need to step up my game because he might be looking better than me soon with his shirt off. I used to like being in better shape than a HW fighter. I’m still better looking than Grandad Ortiz! Can I still call him Fat Andy? No way! Maybe chubby Andy but he’s officially no longer fat at least not at the certain angles. Congrats!

I just hope he still has his power and punch resistance. Sometimes guys lose weight and lose their mojo. Fat guy mojo is dangerous.

It's a holiday weekend here....Monday is Labor Day and most people have the day off, so a late Sunday night fight makes sense.

As this draws closer I think it's gonna be Ruiz via UD.

Ortiz KO, stumpy armed Ruiz will have a hard time finding the proper range and closing the distance, the only reason Martin had the success that I predicted he would was because he was a southpaw as well. Fat Andy will walk onto clean flush lefts repeatedly until one of them eventually fells him, most likely an uppercut and when he has you hurt, King Kong Ortiz can be a savage finisher, he won't let him off the hook like Arreola did.
