Hearn despite his bravado must have concerns of picking an opponent for AJ who has credibility and will make AJ look good ! On top of that Hearn must be confident that he can make a profit not a forgone conclusion as he must have concerns over AJ’s popularity and probably more significant since he went to DAZN he basically zero marketing presence ! Maybe he is confident he can get his new deal in Abu Dhabi to fund but I am sure that the money men there are not running a charity and will want a return of investment. I sense he would like to stage a stadium fight 2023 with AJ and Whyte but to do that he has to provide both of them a set up interim fight.
100% AJ boxing in December according too Edward. Either at the o2 or Manchester arena against a top 15 opponent. Looks like Wallin or Kabayel maybe Jermaine Franklin as a wildcard.
Looking at the current top 15s of the 4 organisations The weakest fighters are Jermaine Franklin, Lucas Browne, Trevor Bryan, Tony Yoka, Lenier Pero. I think it'll be one of those.
I want to see the Glove's are Off episode, there was talk of Joshua kicking off but it seems to have been consigned to the vaults, never to be seen again.
Had it on good authority that AJ’s tantrum came because him and Miller had a ‘freestyle rap battle’ – AJ fluffed his lines after 20 seconds then Miller lasted about 5 minutes and proceeded to take the mick out of AJ. Being 100% serious too.
It's AJ not Wilder (Yoka would actually be one of Wilders best wins, that shoes how poor the opponents he has beaten really are).
Yeah that rap battle thing is supposed to be true. It could be the only thing that AJ has done that is more cringe than what happened in his last fight. Hopefully Sky will burn whatever bridges are left now and release it.
