You could simulate a billion alternate universes and within none of them would Khan beat any version of Mayweather...

It's a 50/50 fight during the point when it was discussed. At worst a 60/40

Prime Floyd, lets say the version that fought Gatti? Haha

No version of Floyd loses to khan, but certainly not a pre welter Floyd

Amir did beat up manny in sparring, that is true

Khan may have given Mayweather trouble in the early rounds.

But Mayweather would have eventually timed him and and stopped him.

The version of Floyd that beat Zab beats any version of Khan. I would venture to guess that version of Zab also beats Khan.

Yes, khan had fast feet and hands - but he worked in straight lines, both when engaging and exiting an exchange, chin exposed - a china chin at that.

This is why although his speed tended to bamboozle even quality opponents like Canelo for a few rounds, eventually they'd start to time his rhythm which he was never smart enough to mix up.

Garcia timed him when exiting an exchange but Floyd would catch him coming in, either with his famed lead right hand at mid-distance or if Khan got closer, his check left hook.

As single punches these were fast too - and well timed - but because he rarely flurried, his speed was less easy to spot than Khan’s flashy but predictable and oft-repeated combinations. He wasn’t a big puncher in the latter part of his career but they’d sting enough to dissuade.

Khan never really adapted within a fight - he applied the same rudimentary blueprint irrespective of the qualities of the opponent. Good enough to beat most, not good enough to beat the very best.

This smacks of low ring IQ, another flaw you don’t want to take into battle against Mayweather.

Khan had no route to victory in this fight other than maybe the fight making it to four rounds and being stopped on an accidental cut. He might have been leading at this point but he’d not be leading after 12 and he didn’t have the power to end it early…

No he didn't pose stylistic problems for pbf. Pbf posed stylistic problems for him.

Combo punching yes but not with single shots he didn't. Which is way more important in a boxing match. How many times did you see boxers land combos on pbf?
