AJ disrespecting Dempsey and Marciano

Dempsey does. Marciano looks crude but there's a bit of craft to his game if you care to look.

 

Marciano would definitely be a LHW today. He has almost identical dimensions to Artur Beterbiev. Dempsey's dimensions are similar to Kovalev's (he's slightly broader in the chest and shoulders), or a better comparison would be Joe Smith Jr. Neither man has been a legit heavy since around the 80s onwards when sub 200lbers became an almost extinct species.

Saying that I would actually be morbidly interested to see how well Beterbiev does at HW without bulking up. He already fought Usyk in the amateurs and gave him hell, so it's not an impossibility he does terribly. Sometimes those massive weight mismatches on paper turn into surprisingly competitive affairs.

AJ was out of order 100% with his in the spotlight rant and behaviour, this he admitted next day.

Not making excuses for AJ at all he neither deserves or expects any, however after getting punched in the head for 12 rounds and getting given a boxing masterclass i am willing to cut him some slack regarding his immediate verbal response, however not so willing to do so for his belt dumping antics.

 

Maybe his combos were so quick because he was lighter than AJ.

A roguish and gallivanting character to his nasal formulus. The obsidian haberdashery of a dachshund brow and Miquellan cheeks. Sizable and folsom carbuncular divots in his clavicle and philtrum. Mmm. Damn.
