Anyone that really knew Ike Ibeabuchi never over rated him at all. He had it all. His main asset was the legendary Curtis Cokes. I watched Curtis transform Ike from a crude banger to the consumate boxer puncher. Ike believed in Curtis & vice versa What happened to derail Ike's career was a tragedy. A troubled man who needed help but all Kushner etc saw was the $$$$$$$ they could make off him.

Ibeabuchi would beat Usyk. Ike was busy as hell, hit like a mule and had stamina out the window.
And he was a real Heavyweight. Usyk has beaten ONE, count 'em friends, one top guy after that
    guy was broken mentally.

    Vitali for example.
Or do you think Ike Ibeabuchi is such a good boxer that he would beat both Vitali and Lennox?

Ike Ibeabuchi always struck me as a massive roider, 245lbs at 6'2 with no fat.

Usyk's movement would cause issues for Ike, but a close fight for sure.

lol just looked at your post history after this dumb post. And it's all hating on Usyk saying everyones gonna beat him. What a hater. Usyk is on another planet to Ike who never won a single world title fight ever.

Usyk = p4p number 1. and one of the greats. Deal with it!

Bad style match up for Usyk.
Ibeabuchi at his best had incredible stamina, and was very good at cutting off and landing big big shots. He had an iron chin. Dude went to war with Tua and won. He'd walk through Usyk's punches to land his own. He was not tentative either, he'd hit the arms, the body whatever presented itself. I don't think Usyk is durable enough to go 12 with Ike. I think Ike stops Usyk.

Now, Ibeabuchi was not always at his best. He came in sluggish a few times. But, these mythical match ups usually pick the best versions. I don't think the best Usyk can keep the best Ibeabuchi off him the whole fight.

He'd beaten Vitali when barely 80 % fit Now Lennox was something else I would have loved to see that fight it would be a barn burner . Sadly Ike was unavailable at the time & they were doing all they could to see he never came back. He was the one guy I thought MAY have beaten Lennox

I knew Ike from the day he walked into the gym & saw him on a regular basis training at Curtis Cokes gym in Dallas Texas & BMI in Ft Worth. Plus the majority of his fights & I never saw any juicing I Know the late great Curtis Cokes wouldn't allow it in his gym

No you have no proof of anything you said, and I dont believe anything boxing related unless its on video or people talking on video which sounds real...

Curtis said "Lets see what you got then" LOL Believe it or not makes no odds to me I never saw any fighter in all those years use anything

I'll agree Usyk is an awesome fighter must be P4P#1 now
But with Ike you forget he was really just getting started. No one had heard of him till he fought Tua . I was ridiculed when I predicted he would beat Tua may even KO him
Most were saying "African fighters especially HW's don't do well David might just finish him"lol After the fight it was " Where the heck they been hiding him he's awesome" Even Curtis said "Now he's convinced me he can take it as well as he can give it out some of those shots he landed & took were thunderous we may have a champion here now" The rest really was a tragedy for Ike & for Curtis

LOL They all knew me like I knew them. Great days before the corruption turned boxing into the WWE.
