Ruiz 268? What a ****ing joke. He’s like barely 6’0.

PPV card starts at 9 PM Eastern time, 6 PM Pacific time.

Main event should be starting sometime after 11 PM Eastern, 8 PM Pacific.

Undercard will probably start about 5 PM Eastern or 2 PM Pacific.

Charles Martin's fight is not on the PPV, it will be on the non-PPV undercard.

Ruiz is a joke fighter. Proper comedy fat man. If Ortiz isn’t shot to pieces he stops the big blubbery disgrace.

I think people just figure Ortiz can't give 12 high-quality rounds and isn't likely to catch Andy cold early.

King Kong got stopped in the first Wilder fight when he began to tire. And that was about 4 1/2 years ago. King Kong's gas tank will not have improved in the meantime...

I can't rule out Ortiz stopping Ruiz with a huge left hand - but I don't think it's the likeliest outcome.

If Luis Ortiz wins then he really is 400 years old and eternal.

There are twelve fights on the card. Martin v. Vargas will be the 6th. It's not even getting "top billing on the preliminary, non-televised card". Vargas is 40, over the hill, and gave up his dream of being a full-time fighter about eight years ago. Martin would have to be doing something very wrong for Vargas to be in the fight for more than several rounds. Mostly, it's just Prince Charles reminding folks he's still looking for a big fight and that's not quite TV-worthy.

Charles is still a fringe contender. This is a good one to get him back in the win column and keep him somewhat relevant.

Whenever I start to think Ruiz should easily win this, I remember him struggling with 40 year old Arreola who isn't half as good as Ortiz.

ruiz is undisciplined. no telling how much he put into sharpening his blades. hes got heart, but not that kinda heart. the grind in the gym, sweat in the box kinda heart. thats a special kinda heart. if he put it all into it, he could have ortiz out in 6.

I would not be surprised by an Ortiz victory tonight. Ruiz is not exactly a beacon of consistency and we're still holding on to the memory of his first fight with AJ.

Ortiz is a tall southpaw, which present some challenges for the shorter Ruiz. While I tip the fight to Ruiz, I can see Ortiz giving Ruiz a lot of problems for the first half of the fight. If he can bank enough rounds early, he can potentially win a decision.
