    But Wilder will be well aware of Andy's damaging temple shots, and keep him at a distance with his jab.

    After the fights with Fury, Ruiz will be a walk in the park.

    He didn't fight anyone pre-Wilder, Jennings was his best win and Jennings was no puncher.

    Recently, Ruiz Jr has been more of a counterpuncher. It's true that counterpunchers aren't a great match for Wilder (e.g. Stiverne).

    But Ruiz Jr was - until has last few fights - more of a pressure fighter. That could work against Wilder and lots of things do work against Wilder. Or at least up until he lands that big right hand.

    Mind you, I'm not sure Andy has the legs any longer to be a pressure fighter.

    Yeah but being knocked down at 43 isn't evidence that he was chinny at 30, it just isn't evidence that he was iron jawed. Ie, it can't be used against him at 30, but it can't be used to help him either.

    This. Ortiz had around 350 amateur fights compared to Foreman, who had around 30. 350 amateur fights is a lot of wear and tear and Ortiz turned pro 30 years old.

    Plenty of people were making Ortiz out to be a real threat. Ortiz couldn't get past Wilder, who in the Top 10 even 7 years ago was he going to beat?

    Wilder doesn't have cardio for s**** as well. And let's just see him how he will look. Wilder also doesn't have legs whatsoever, so he may hit the canvas quite a lot as well. Again it's all depend on what version of Ruiz will shown in the right. Granite chin that is ready to goes through fireworks or shy version of tonight.
