Wilder is also sloppy as hell, if Lewis drops Fury with his right hand. I'm sure with Lewis's superior boxing skills, he would have a better chance of finishing off Fury. The fact that Fury was dropped 4 times by someone with such limited boxing skills, isn't really a plus in my book. Other than Fury showing heart, for me if Fury is such a master boxer how is he getting dropped so often ?
Lennox struggles a bit at the beginning with Fury's awkwardness but eventually beats down and stops Fury late rounds.
Lewis isn’t dropping as much in height and weight to Fury as was suggested in an earlier post. In reality, there would be about a 2”’or so difference in height (see Lewis vs 250 lb, 86” reach Grant for comparison) , 1” in reach and Lewis weighed 256 lbs in his last fight - about 20 lbs shy of Fury’s top weight - and Lennox appeared far more than just 20 lbs trimmer than Fury. So we’re talking some mere extra fat on Tyson also - the complete functionality and true advantage of which is debatable.
Thing is Wilder only landed 1 punch at a time and Fury wobbled when ever he was hit. Lennox will land much more often and he has a top level right hand. Lewis by UD or stoppage late is the way to bet.
Fury has a 1 inch reach advantage over Lewis. Hes not outboxing him. If it turns into a brawl Lennox Lewis knocks him out. Lennox Lewis TKO 9
I would like to see Wladimir Klitschko fight Lennox Lewis instead of Vitali on June 21, 2003; to see how wrong you are.
