Or it's just better for Usyk to come out with a date for their fight, but a sooner one, like end of January or beginning of February. Maybe Fury will then decide to wait, but no, it's easier for Usyk to play it like "I miss my family and I am hurt" and not saying anything concrete.

Usyk already said he is willing to fight in February to which Fury refuse as he adamant he wants to fight this year.

 

Usyk himself didn't say anything specific, just some time in 2023. But anyway, we might just suppose Fury would possibly agree to wait him even if it is February. But he's absolutely free not to accept that time for his own reasons, same as Usyk has, so to refuse December or whatever.

 

It's not as bad as all that. Fury has just basically beaten two mandatories, is looking for a "tune-up" type fight before Usyk, and Kabeyal is a ranked guy with promotional ties. I have been predicting that this fight would be made since April of 2020.

Kabeyal has a win over Chisora, who, believe it or not, is still one of the highest ranked in the world, as well as high-end journeymen and upset artists like Kingpin Johnson, Rudenko, Lazaridis, Rovcanin, Hubeaux, Lewandoswki, Oloukun, and Pedurya, so he is perfect for what they want him for...a tune-up that can be sold as a title defense.

I hate social media. You young people have no idea how awesome it was before this bull****. It was pleasant to not have everyone go crazy with each fake tweet or post. We were in the dark at times but it was preferable to this insanity. I ignore these types of posts these days and assume if it’s not officially on, it’s not on. Easy!
