I listened to his press conference and he said he MAYBE will fight Fury in 2023. He did not say he WILL fight. 'Maybe' sounds like someone who is not sure of himself.

Reality has set in after being behind AJ in the score cards going into round 10. He knows the gypsy King wont gas like AJ did. Usyk now looking at alternatives like Wilder despite saying its Fury or retirement. Hmm....

He called him out after he beat AJ, it's pretty ****ing obvious he does. Maybe he wants a little more time off after going through hell this year.... no big deal. Get over it.

How can he call someone out and say he 'maybe' will fight them next year? I am 100% convinced Usyk wont fight Fury, He ducked him like he ducked Whyte.

I'm 100% convinced you're a terrible poster, a hater, an overreaching idiot and a troll.

    Probs a translation thing..

For the fact he is not willing to fight him this year means he is serious because he want to be in his best shpae he can be in..

He wants the fight. Fury wants the fight.

Their respective promoters may not want this fight right now.

Right now there are a lot of economic headwinds and I suspect that this coming winter is not exactly going to provide the ideal environment for PPV buys or subscriptions.

A couple weeks ago I would have said that the promoters for both fighters would want to make this fight ASAP to beat out the imminent economic storm - but it's already too late to do that.

He has said Fury is the only fighter he will fight, so, yeah.

Apparently he ha a hand injury, and judging by the fact that he had one before, I am guessing it is Chronic. His time in the sport is sadly limited.

Absolutely. But he needs a well deserved rest after the war effort and training for the second Joshua fight.

It's understandable he wants time off considering his year.
And he knows he needs to be in the best condition possible to beat a motivated Fury.

But it is also a risk delaying it too long because things can go wrong.
Fury could get a cut/injury, even lose.
Might get more difficult for Usyk to leave Ukraine.
Maybe Fury / AJ actually does get made and they fight back to back, pushing Usyk out for a long time.
So he's in a bit of a difficult position.

Let's just focus on the positive things, like AJ losing back to back and now begging Fury and Wilder for fights.
