Fury is only baiting Joshua because he knows he's completely mentally broken and at this point is an easy win and a great payday. Fury is smarter than Joshua for sure and has shown this on previous occasions when he's known he's not ready and therefore pulled out or ducked a fight. Joshua lacks that self awareness and will lose easily against Fury if he fights without any self confidence. I've said for some time Joshua needs to recover his confidence after the fights with Vlad and Pudding. he didn't and has not been the same since and I can't see him recovering. Lennox had that time and recovered but it took him a few flower tier ights to do it. Joshua with all his flaws has attempted to fight the best he can. but after defeats should have had some lower tier fights just like Fury did after his break. I suspect the people around him as well as his own ego have prevented this recovery.
I am going to address this directly. Usyk's heavyweight resume is equal. Hunter, Briedis, and Bellew have had good heavyweight wins, and Huck had that great, razor loss to Povetkin. Joshua is better than Wilder. Uysk is a heavyweight, and he is going to bring it. Fury's accomplishments are real, but leave him less than great thus far. Fury insults Chisora, but his two wins over Del Boy are two of his best. He makes a big deal over Wilder, who is nothing but a walking right hand and hardly the hardest puncher ever, and Wladdy, who was 40. The fact that he has so many belts is due to title proliferation. Usyk is injured, and it is a documented, chronic injury. Does Fury want to fight him when he is crippled? I am not degrading the guy...I am a fan. But he is talking this fight down out of insecurity. This does not "destroy" Usyk, as nothing he says in it is true.
Where is the contract from Usyk's side then? He was the one calling out Fury and now being completely silent.
Fury is the annoying type of person who has to put others down to make himself feel better. Looks like Usyk is already in his head.
Another one delusional that I am some alt. It's funny and idiotic. But don't get that bothered man, I'm registered since Saturday, remember? Spent too much time on replies, but skipping the one thing that doesn't fit your arguments. He can come with an official statement at least like "Fury, I'll be ready around February/March/whatever" or some kind of offer at least. It's just not good to call someone for a fight, then say you want to spend some time at home, which is perfectly fine, but without saying anything more about the fight you wanted. And I think he'll keep silent for months.
Usyk has never ducked anyone his whole career and generally fought everyone in their own backyard. I like Fury but he has not and has a long history of doing just that. Also Usyk's ambition is to be undisputed and is 36 yrs old..........so do you honestly think he's the one delaying? Considering all the evidence on both sides?
He factually is the one delaying. Not that I blame him. December is a fairly quick turnaround (though far from unprecedented), and I did say weeks ago that, if the fight didn't happen in December, it would be most likely because Usyk would want more time to repair and/or relax;
