That he boxed continuously from 1969 to 1997.
What would happen? What role would he play during the reign of Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson and beyond?
Or between 1977 and the reign of Larry Holmes?

In his prime he got dropped, rocked and outboxed thoroughly by Jimmy Young.

He gets eaten alive by a fair few guys down the road and becomes someone to just beat for a name...

Way I see it, if he carry s on in to the 1980 s, then he ends up in the same boat has Jimmy Young and Ron Lyle did. Getting beaten by the next generation.
He wouldn't have learnt much from his first career losses and eventually he gets a bad beating.

He gets outboxed by Larry Holmes, possibly stopped or dropped late.

Without the loss to Ali and the subsequent mental break down that
lead to his loss to Young. A confident and focused Foreman could
conceivably have had a historic run.
His biggest threats would be Holmes, Tucker, Witherspoon, Thomas
Douglas, Bowe and Holyfield. But he would probably be favored
    over them.
Fighters like Cooper, Mercer, Frazier and Tyson he'd match up
    very well against.
He'd probably slip up along the way against a fighter technically
sound , physically strong with a good defense.

Assuming he picks himself up — we get a legendary showdown against Holmes somewhere down the lines. A Norton rematch perhaps.

Foreman was 27 or so when he finished his first career. That's less than Sanchez or Hrgovic are right now by a good deal. He could have boxed alongside Holmes comfortably through the entirety of 80's up until the Tyson era.

If he becomes Mandatory for the Muhammad Ali rematch he probably regains the title and still dispatches Ken Norton or if Ali avoids him he likely fights Larry Holmes for the vacated WBC title. If he hangs around a bit longer after that he probably goes to war with fresher younger versions of Gerry Cooney and Tim Witherspoon, Trevor Berbick and all the other fringe contenders. Personally and professionally his comeback overshadows anything that he could have done had he been staying active after 1977.

Probably has mixed success in the late 70s and early 80s, but loses by stoppage against Holmes. Career ends as a fat guy who gets beaten to a pulp against a pre-title Mike Tyson.

Before Young he was the baddest man on the Earth. He did a lot of bad things inside and outside the ring. After Young he saw Jesus who said to him that if had continued to be so nasty he would have ended up badly. Since then he became a preacher and a fine business owner. He came back to fight from old without intimidate nobody and respecting all his opponents. He had found balance and wisdom. Now hes one of the richest living fighters and a full time family man.

When i said he did bad things I was just referring to this. He had a dark soul before Jesus inspired him.

    Yes, I agree.
Let's go back to June 9, 1978 and replace Ken Norton with George Foreman (who didn't retire) as the opponent of Larry Holmes; not sure what the outcome would be.
    P.S. Foreman is not Shavers

If he boxed for that long without the break he would be dead.
