    Boxing is shyte.

Poor main event but suppose it's better than pulling the show. Too late to move it to Sheffield seeing as both are from South Yorks?

Would it sell in Sheffield though? Kid Galahad has about 12 fans, not sure about Maxi Hughes

Was really looking fwd to Wood v lara.
Glad to see Maxi get a shot at headlining tho. It's not necessarily a stinker as some have suggested.

They'll have even less in Nottingham  if they're offering a refund policy surely nobody in Nottingham is bothered about Galahad v Hughes.

    It's a lose lose.

Don't offer them and it's a PR disaster because you have spent 3 figures to watch Kid Galahad.

Do offer them and 80% will take the refund

    Lara would’ve won by stoppage.

There would not have been much interest in Matchroom's show anyway. All interest on September 24th is focused on Joyce vs Parker.

It would seriously be nice to have an announcement from Matchroom about their autumn plans.

I am well aware that Matchroom has become a global player after the agreement with DAZN, but I know of several UK boxers who miss communication about their future.

From the outside, it seems like the UK Boxing scene has a lower priority for Matchroom.

There is a card tonight on BT Sports, another card on Channel 5 tomorrow and if that is not enough for your weekend, boxing fans can fork out for the Canelo v GGG Box Office event.

Cannot understand all the complaints when there are plenty of cards for boxing fans to watch.
