"Fighting Tyson Fury in December is impossible. First, I have old injuries. Second, I just don't want to box in December. I haven't left the gym for half a year. I want to be with my children and my family. Boxing can wait for a little. Next year I think it will happen." Dude literally said he needs a break also, which all fighters are entitled to after a long training camp and fight. If Usyk turns down the fight in 2023, then you have a case. Joshua is in a dire position and needs to rebuild ASAP. Usyk isn't.
Bruh he needs a break he said he’ll fight again in spring. You can’t expect him to fight again so soon especially with all he’s been through with his country.
Usyk is a great boxer but he knows there is a great chance he will lose against Fury, so he needs extra time Don't fault him for that
What does AJ have to lose by taking the fight? Nothing at all, whereas Usyk has a waist full of title belts, so why does Usyk have to dance to Furys tune. Fury did not value the belts when he held them, his mini me the 'Mental Elf' was used as his excuse for ducking.....um... not re matching with Wlad.
Was this at the EuroBasket supporting Ukraine, and recent? It's not a good look if true after claiming he had nagging injuries that need rest. They should have come to some sort of an agreement about the fight details and try to sign it asap, even though if it's in mid 2023. Canelo - GGG had an agreement and signed way before their fight and had other pending opponents. It would really suck if it's mid 2023 and then they are trying to negotiate when they could be doing that now. I challenge Usyk to a game of 21.
I am going to address you directly. You are a ****ing idiot. His hand is injured, and it is something of a chronic injury at this point. Just because you can't punch does not mean that you can't play basketball. Asking that a fight be postponed from December to January or February is not a duck. Moron.
Who is Usky? Usyk is not avoiding anyone. He just fought a big super-heavyweight, and has some minor aches and injuries that need to heal. He also has some aggravating recurring injuries from past fights, which were activated and started hurting again because of the fight with Joshua. These are not such serious injuries that would prevent him from running or playing basketball with friends, but he needs to be 100% and at his best to be able to fight competitively against another even larger super-heavyweight like Fury. Besides, he wants some time to be with his family. Fury has had that since his fight several months ago against Whyte. Usyk needs it too.
