AJ easily. Apart from having a better jab, AJ was the far superior boxer all round. Bruno was stiff and couldn't box on the back foot.

A closer comparison would be Bruno vs Whyte.

 

Bruno did ok vs Lewis

Think he’s a live underdog, the longer the fight goes the better his chances.

If he hurts AJ he will stop him 100%
Bruno was a good finisher and AJ loses the plot when hurt.
If AJ hurts him he could still come back imo

 

AJ sparks Frank out mid rounds.

Bruno doesn’t have a single world class win on his record other than a post prime drug ravaged Oliver McCall.

AJ would survive the early onslaught and stop Frank as he gasses out from the 6th to 7th round in every fight.

He could barely hold his arms up in the 11th and 12th against McCall and that was a fight fought at a snails pace.

 

Toss of the coin type fight imo. I think it would have been a 50/50 fight.

 

Bruno beat weak opposition but so did AJ.

 

Agreed. Bruno was tosh. He never beat anyone of note in the 80's or 90's bar a timid McCall.

I lean towards AJ as he is the better boxer of the two

 

Wlad, Whyte, Povetkin, Parker, Ruiz. Even with the all asterisks that go with the wins it’s still a stronger resume than Bruno’s.
